Inspector Journey - Public Works - Right of Way Division The Yavapai County Public Works Department is seeking a skilled Inspector Journey to join the Right of Way Division for a temporary assignment. This position performs technical inspections and fieldwork to ensure compliance with county standards, permits, and right-of-way regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction inspection, roadway maintenance, or right-of-way management, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in the field. As a Housekeeping Inspector you play an important role in creating a memorable first impression for our guests from the moment they enter their tent. Known for providing guests with a glamping experience that includes all the comforts and luxury of home, your role is to ensure our tent accommodations are clean, well-maintained, replenished with consumables, and ready for our guests to enjoy their stay. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment. Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and maneuvering in an outdoor environment on uneven surfaces. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to heat, cold, rain, snow, humidity, and wind. All primary, specialized equipment will be provided by the company. Schedule: Opportunity is FULL-TIME once training is complete. Inspections are scheduled 5-6 days per week but are dependent upon workload. May be required to work Saturdays and evenings. (Closed on Sunday). Qualifications: Home inspection or construction experience is helpful, but not required. Customer service and communication skills are critical and more important than construction/inspection experience. Typing and computer skills required. Good writing and verbal skills required. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to self-manage day-to-day responsibilities. Integrity and respect for the property of others is a must. Requirements: Employment commitment of 2 yrs required. All training fees and training expenses will be deferred until termination and waived after the 2nd year of employment. Non-compete agreement required. This is an employee position. Subcontracted work is not an option. This position will require local travel (driving from location to location) up to 100 miles per day. Company vehicle provided. Working Conditions: May be required to work in extreme heat or cold, rain, snow, wind, etc. Required to walk on roofs, enter attics, and crawl under homes. Must have the ability to climb ladders and maneuver in tight spaces. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
