Quality Control Inspector II is a hands-on role, whose primary responsibility consists of the inspection and measurement of products to ensure that they are in spec at the point of production.
POSITION DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
Able to read different measuring gages, understanding of gage calibration, receiving inspection of components, validate process and test reports, In-process inspection, generate Nonconformance reports, read travelers, work with industry and customer specifications, understands QMS function, review P.O. for shipping orders to ensure correct delivery address, prepare paperwork for shipping of product, Customer source inspection, verification of resin mix, understanding of composite inspection, train new inspectors, develop performance metrics, complete corrective action reports, work with supplier quality issues, perform internal audits.

Ideal candidate will utilize inspection plans, CMM Arm, engineering drawings, process specifications, and customer documents to inspect products to determine conformity to the established requirements. Exercise responsibility for decisions as to the quality and usability of products based on obtained organizational knowledge, performance specifications and engineering drawings.
Performs mechanical / electrical inspection work in two basic areas; In-process inspection and final inspection;
Create AS9102 Inspection reports.
Plans and performs detailed inspections of mechanical, metal and composite materials, parts and assemblies using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, depth gages, optical comparators, and height gages.
Performs First Article Inspections (FAI) and generates FAI reports.
Performs in-process and final inspections.

Job Qualifications

May substitute additional experience in lieu of formal education and training.
