This position will be responsible for leadership, problem solving, and overall production goals for their assigned work. Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for leading and assisting personnel in the completion of daily production tasks. * Responsible for communicating tasks and instruction to work cell personnel. * Meet minimum standards of safety per assigned department. * Must be familiar with all aspects and processes of the department assigned. * Should be able to qualify for the highest ranking job classification within the department assigned. * Ensuring that all of the parts are being ordered and put through the system as well as being the lead over the machine operators. * This department will have interdepartmental communication to ensure they are receiving the product in a timely manner Qualifications/Training: * Must be able to prioritize work, work independently, establish and maintain working relationships with other employees. * Must have good understanding of the parts flow throughout the building. * 2 plus years of experience in related field preferred. * Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools. Must be familiar with the safe operation of various tools - drill, screw gun, sander, jig saw etc.. * Must have basic PC Skills and be capable of accessing the required computer information to perform the required duties. * Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicates simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English. * Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. * Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Education and experience: * Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for job. * Must be familiar with all aspects and processes of the department assigned. * Should be able to qualify for the highest ranking job classification within the department assigned. * Welding experience and welding certification preferred but not required.
