Conduct OVE courtesy walk-around inspections. Maintain knowledge of system capabilities, knowledge of needed/job-relevant software packages, and web-based applications. Maintain a working knowledge of improvements and changes concerning body, mechanical, frame labor, inspection techniques, etc. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by management. May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate. Qualifications : High School Diploma/GED Generally less than 2 years' experience in a related field Successful ICP Level I written/field exam. Understanding of Baseline Inspections (Electronic Condition Report) & vehicle grading. Valid driver's license and safe driving record required. Good communication and interpersonal skills required. Strong technical aptitude. Body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge. Familiarity with unibody and full-frame vehicles. Good organizational skills needed. Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instruction required. Ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel. Ability to lift and hold at least 10 lbs at waist level for an extended period of time. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Preferred 1 - 3 years of experience in the automobile field (i.e., inspections, body/mechanic shop, etc.) strongly preferred.
