Title: Medical Facilities Inspector State Role Title: Health Care Compliance Spec II Hiring Range: $36.06 - $41.47 Pay Band: 5 Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The Office of Licensure and Certification (OLC) in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a wage Medical Facilities Inspector for the Tidewater Region's Long-Term Care Team. This position currently offers a sign-on bonus of $2,500 with a one-year written agreement for external candidates. This position will require travel and overnight travel. Conducts complaint investigations; compiles and evaluates information in determining degree of compliance; communicates findings orally and in writing; reviews and recommends approval, denial, or revisions to health care provider's plan; recommends plan of correction to supervisor when provider is not in compliance. May serve as information resource to health care providers. Position requires travel. This is a wage position of no more than 29 hours per week and 1500 hours per year. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor. May be required by VDH to adjust work hours, location, and job duties and participate in training to meet public health business needs, including emergencies. If this position is designated as a mobile worker, this includes both working in the field and teleworking at an alternate location when not in the field or during an emergency closing.
