We are seeking a CEI Inspector that will provide field observation, testing and measurement services as liaison with project stakeholders that include the client, engineer, contractor, utility agencies, and regulatory authorities during the construction phase of a project. The Inspector will work within a team environment and assist the Team Leader/Senior Inspector in observing, measuring, testing, and documenting the progress, quality, and quantity of work performed by the contractor. Inspector will be responsible for performing inspection, testing and material sampling services for conformance to plans and specifications for all roadway, structure, and specialty items; mostly comprised of asphalt, earthwork, and concrete elements. The Inspector shall observe, measure, and record all construction quantities for contractor payment including understanding of mathematical calculations associated with quantity measurement. Dare Commercial Services is looking for an experienced individual to do a once monthly site inspection for a client in Jacksonville. You will be using a state of the art inspection platform. You will be looking for CAM related issues such as potholes, graffiti and debris among other issues. Must have own tablet or smart phone, be available early mornings and be consistent. This position is a 1099.
