1986

One boon to Administaff was the passage of the Texas Reform Act of 1986, which spelled out more precisely what a staff leasing firm was liable for.

Since 1986, Insperity has been showing companies how to harness the power of HR to improve business success.

1987

In 1987, Administaff more than quadrupled its revenue, bringing in $4.2 million.

1995

Sales for 1995 were more than $716 million.

1996

By 1996, Administaff had a stable of 1,400 client companies, with a total of 23,000 worksite employees.

1997

1997: Administaff goes public.

2001

As the technology sector cooled off and the economy nationwide slowed down, Administaff reined in its expansion for 2001.

2002

It moved more solidly into the Midwest in 2002 with a new office in Cleveland.

2004

Administaff seemed to be focusing on the Midwest, with plans to build a new service center in Chicago by 2004, and hopes for multiple sales offices in some of the region's cities.
