Fidji Simo is the Chief Executive Officer at Instacart. Simo joined the Board of Directors in January of 2021. Simo was previously the Head of Facebook App, where she led the development and strategy for the Facebook App, including News Feed, Stories, Groups, Video, Marketplace, Gaming, News, Dating, Ads and more. She joined Facebook in 2011, and had been a core driver of Facebook's mobile monetization strategy and led the team in charge of developing ad formats for mobile. She also made video a critical part of the Facebook experience, from rolling out videos that autoplay in News Feed, to building and launching Facebook Live and Watch. In her most recent role, she led all Video, Games, and Monetization efforts across the Facebook App.

Prior to Facebook, Simo joined eBay in 2007, as part of the Strategy team. In addition to serving as a member of Instacart's Board of Directors, Simo co-founded Women in Product, a non-profit to help women reach leadership positions in product management.

Dani Dudeck is a communications executive who has spent the last 15+ years working with the fastest-growing companies in the world at the intersection of technology, ecommerce, and entertainment. Dudeck currently serves as Instacart’s Chief Communications Officer where she oversees the company’s global communications practice which includes corporate comms, shopper engagement, policy comms, consumer PR, and employer brand.

Prior to joining Instacart, Dani led the global comms practice at Zynga including managing the company’s corporate reputation across financial and industry audiences, driving direct-to-consumer mainstream awareness for existing and new products, and managing Zynga’s employer brand through internal communications, cultural initiatives and events. Dudeck served as the Executive Sponsor and Advisory Board member of Women at Zynga, the largest and most active employee resource group at the company where she helps to drive unique coaching, development and community-building programs for Zynga’s talented women. In 2012, Dani received industry recognition by PRWeek in the publication's annual \'40 Under 40.\'

Prior to Zynga, Dani led the Communications team for News Corp’s MySpace’s as the company’s Vice President of Global Communications where she oversaw the company’s in-house team, global PR agencies and communications efforts across consumer, technology, product and corporate issues management.

Prior to joining News Corp, Dani worked for PR agencies including Edelman and Hill & Knowlton representing clients such as Starbucks, Yahoo!, Hewlett Packard, Toshiba and THQ. Dani earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and French language from the University of Southern California. She currently resides in San Francisco with her husband and two kids.

Mark Schaaf currently works as chief technology officer at Instacart. He also works as Thumbtack's CTO. Mark previously held positions at AdMob. He also worked for Google as the company's senior engineering director.

Nick Giovanni is a CFO at Instacart and is based in San Francisco Bay Area. He has worked as Head of Global Technology, Media and Telecom Group at GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP INC. Nick studied at Pinewood School between 1981 and 1994 and University of California Berkeley between 1994 and 1998.

Asha Sharma is the Chief Operating Officer of Instacart. Previously, Ms. Sharma was an executive at Facebook (NASDAQ: FB), where she was Vice President of Product for many of the company’s private communications products across Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. During her time at Facebook, Ms. Sharma also previously served as Vice President of Product for Messenger, and before that, as Head of Product for Social Impact. Before Facebook, Asha was the Chief Operating Officer of Porch Group (NASDAQ: PRCH), where she spent years building the business from the ground up and was responsible for helping scale the company’s operations, product, marketing, and growth. Prior to joining Porch Group, she worked in marketing and operations at Microsoft.

Ms. Sharma is a board member at Porch Group and AppLovin (NASDAQ: APP), the leading marketing software to help app developers grow their business. In addition, Ms. Sharma is a trustee at Seattle Foundation which currently manages over $1b in philanthropic assets. Ms. Sharma graduated from The Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor’s of Science and Business.
