Jerry is a systems engineer, nationally recognized for his designs in security, virtualization, and implementation of audit software. Due to his efforts and expertise, Citrix and Microsoft have recently awarded INS with the Silver level status as an authorized partner.

Through his unique skill sets and experience in IT and Insurance Regulation, he has developed the INS Cyber Security and IT Forensics examination process where he has implemented with great success in several examinations.

He is also a former Senior Citrix Engineer and TeamMate IT administrator for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and his innovative designs have been implemented in several states for greater IT efficiencies. He is a member of several National IT committees including the NAIC IT Audit Working Group.

During his 20 year involvement with IT, Jerry has worked for national defense contractors where his efforts resulted in providing new technologies for naval defense systems to communicate more effectively with missile command for guided warhead deployment.

In addition, Jerry has worked for telecommunications companies where he was recognized for his cutting edge virtualization, remote application, and information security solutions and received a national award given only once a year for connecting multiple call centers around the world to work on one platform.

Jerry has given many varied presentations, sharing his diverse knowledge at several conferences such as SOFE, IRES, and the NAIC and has been published in both The Examiner and The Regulator newsletters. Jerry has attained several industry accreditation including the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Certified Citrix Architect, Certified Computer Auditor, and Certified Digital Forensics Examiner

Led numerous regulatory compliance exams and annual financial audits for the firm along with its other international and domestic subsidiaries. Played a lead role in the company’s successful IPO and transition to a publicly traded company as well as the successful completion of the company’s earnings press releases and the subsequent 10K/ 10Q filings. Successfully implemented and maintained the company’s SOX control environment without any material deficiencies. Played a key role with numerous corporate acquisitions and divestitures. Led a team of nine direct report and six indirect report professionals as the controller of a publicly traded company.
