YOUR LIFE AS AN HVAC INSTALLATION MANAGER

This full-time management position typically works 7:30am - 8:00pm, 7 days a week . Management must be available to service customers and installers at any given time .

As an HVAC Installation Manager, you lead a team of installers in completing various assigned jobs. Leading by example, you inspire your team to take pride in their work and produce quality results that leave our clients satisfied. Your organization skills come into play as you ensure that all materials for job costing/PO's are in place for analysis. With your coaching skills, each installer works hard and knows what they need to do to accomplish team goals!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

In this HVAC Installation Manager role, you provide leadership for our team of installers as they install quality heating and cooling systems for our residential and commercial customers. Ferguson is seeking a Custom Appliance Installation Manager to join our operations team!
General areas of responsibility include providing leadership for the organization's customer-facing associates and branch functions. This includes providing competent installation capacity to support the sales of finished goods and ensuring that existing program tools and processes are consistently implemented to maintain program integrity.

Responsibilities
Collaborate sales calls and showroom consultations with outside sales to secure new business Work across multiple KOB's - appliances, cabinets, lighting, DIV10 etc Manages vendor relations regarding pricing and products Manages outside contractors if project activities are sub-contracted Consult with associates and customers at job sites Perform quality checks on the installation work to ensure proper installation practices are used Verify that all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the installation is completed and accurate Manage installation related issues and provide solutions Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel Work with branch trainer and manager(s) to ensure delivery and install processes are maintained Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team Conduct regular associate meetings Represent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed

Qualifications
3+ years experience leading a team of schedulers to include interacting with installers and customers is required Demonstrated experience using standard hand tools, electric tools and motorized and/or manual lifting devices Ability to install custom appliances Ability to train the current inhouse installers on custom appliances Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required
