Fred's Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electric is currently hiring for a full-time Plumbing and HVAC Installation Specialist to install plumbing, heating, and air conditioning equipment in the Champaign, IL area. This plumber position typically works 7 am to 4 pm on Monday through Thursday, with half-day Fridays. Rotating on-call availability is required . Under close supervision, this position is responsible for the assembly and installation of products while providing a safe, efficient, and courteous delivery to our customers. Assist in helping load and unload items and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicle and installation site. Job Description:
Key Responsibilities: • Help assemble and install products for all customers and manufacturers within a home location or job site • Properly assemble products per manufacturer's specifications, test for proper functionality and load, unload and install safely, according to local codes and standards without damage to product or customer location • Identify and resolve any issues in a professional and effective manner to ensure a positive outcome • Interact with coworkers and customers in a professional, fast-paced environment to ensure customer needs are met while building a strong working relationship with a positive attitude. • Understand and promote all JBHT safety requirements including required use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety of self and co-workers; adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger workers or damage the delivery site • May assist with project execution through effective communication in order to improve operational efficiency and profitability

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification:18 years of age with and ability to pass a background check; must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed Preferred Qualification:1-2 years experience with High School Diploma/GED, experience in installing appliances, manual or physical labor, construction site preferred; possession of a valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record that meets JBH standards

1. With minimal supervision, removes and installs interiors including carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, fabric accessories, etc. in aircraft using hand tools according to Duncan Aviation approved procedures.

2. With minimal supervision, strips materials, preps and repairs panels. Performs minor modifications and recovers flat work and accessories using various fasteners and hand tools.

3. With supervision, performs major modifications.

4. Assists with training team members to develop and enhance their job knowledge and performance.

5. With minimal supervision researches, prepares, and signs off various documents for record keeping purposes as required by Duncan Aviation approved procedures, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, 8110-3's, and removal sheets, flammability testing, W.O.
