Proficient in the techniques for fusion splicing, termination and outside plant installation. Understand how to interpret work orders and prints to determine what is required per project. Use of splicing technology such as OTDRs, VFL, OLTS. Proper handling and installation of LC, MTRJ, SC, RJ45 connector terminations, and testing of fiber-optic and copper cabling systems. Be proficient in the installation of various types of cable tray, PDS, and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit up to 4 inches.
