Here's what you'll be doing:
- Install and wire specified alarm system devices.

- Use multimeters for particular volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.
- Hook up RJ31X to specified panel mountings of particular devices such as motion detectors, keypads, and controls.
- Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
- Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the specific alarm system installed works.
- Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department on a daily basis.
- Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.

Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. In this hands-on field role, you will service a variety of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including hot water systems, DX systems, chillers, VRV and VRF systems, cooling towers, VFDs, and low-voltage controls. You'll work independently while receiving full support from our expert team, traveling across eastern Iowa and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems
Service hot water, DX, chillers, cooling towers, VFDs, and low-voltage controls
Perform inspections, startups, commissioning, and preventive maintenance
Provide technical guidance and training to clients and junior technicians
Recommend service improvements and identify opportunities for new solutions
Travel within the assigned territory and maintain accurate service records
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
Strong knowledge of hot water systems, DX systems, chillers, VRV/VRF, and low-voltage controls
EPA certification and a valid HVAC license
Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 pounds
High school diploma or technical training preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Daikin factory training or certification
Experience with VFDs, refrigeration, or large commercial projects
Comfortable traveling within a regional service area
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
