**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

* Comply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards
* Install, align, dismantle, move, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a broad range of mechanical systems and equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, power transmission systems, conveyors, cranes pumps, conveyors, furnaces, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
* Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
* Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery
* Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
* Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
* Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
* Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery
* Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery

* Must have the ability to read and interpret complex documents such as blueprints, shop orders, work plans, and short correspondence.
* Must be able to write standard reports and documentation.

Under the direction of the Installations Manager and Service Coordinator/Specialist, erect and service machine tools and associated equipment at customer's facility. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, complete machines, tool gauges, part wash stations, material handling equipment and inspection equipment.
Scope and Responsibilities:
Utilize various types of test instruments, such as VOM and an oscilloscope; working knowledge of laser measurement devices.
Manage all functions of a machine installation; work with and instruct customer's engineering employees, customer contracted Millwrights and Riggers, Electricians, and Pipe Fitters. Supervise and manage all individuals associated with the machine installation and check-out.
Assist with Run-Offs required for machine acceptance.
Identify issues and delays that effect the performance of each install project.
Perform Health Checks and Recertification on machines in the field.
Perform Service on machines after installation by analyzing the malfunctions, making minor adjustments, recommending and assisting with repair parts orders, and performing actual repair work.
Prepare service reports, expense reports, installation reports, and other special reports as requested by the supervisor.
Use a laptop computer to interface/troubleshoot axis drives, spindle drives and vendor controls.
Willing to travel 100% both Nationally and Internationally. When not traveling to a customer site, travel to Fond du Lac, WI, to train or support the build of machines or machine components.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
High level mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Installation Technician Job In De Pere, WI
Pay Scale: $13 and up (Based on experience) Work Hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm, 4-days per week with a ½ hour lunch break. Work hours may vary based upon project. Overtime may be required. Primary Job Function: HVAC Installer will assist in the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in multi and single-family new construction and retrofits. Installations will be up to Healthy Home Heating & Cooling's rigid quality standards. Reports to assigned job site on time and ready to work.
Reports to: New Construction HVAC Supervisor/Lead Installer
Required Qualifications:
* Valid driver's license.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Must be drug-free and able to pass a new hire and random drug screenings.
* Demonstrate willingness to invest in tools used in the installation of HVAC equipment
* Demonstrate willingness to invest time training to advance position.
* Demonstrate commitment to developing customer service and communication skills
* Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given. • Ability to follow Safety Guidelines:
* Ability to operate power and hand tools safely.
* Safely work with heights and in tight working conditions from extension and step ladders
* Ability to use safe lifting procedures
* Ability to use full range of body motion: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, bending and twisting.
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly Duties:
* Purchase required tools as listed for new construction HVAC installer.
* Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched.
* Operate company vehicle as needed.
* Follow instructions from supervisor and lead installer and carry out in timely manner.
* Report problems with company tools or vehicle promptly.
* Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
* Demonstrate mechanical aptitude.
* Unload truck supplies and equipment.
* Participate in quarterly inventory.
* Attend and participate in employee meetings and trainings.
* Develop customer service, communication and team-work skills with contractor representatives, supervisors, co-workers and other sub-contractors on job sites.
* Other duties as assigned.
* Skill advancement (within 6 months of hire date):
Learn and demonstrate within budgeted labor hours to HHH&C quality standards.
* Hole cutting metal & wood
* Duct connection, installation, and construction
* Nailing and framing outlets
* Installation of duct and flex to code and HHH&C quality standards
* Install and properly vent bath fans
* Installation of gas lines
* Installation of refrigeration line
Performance Indicators:
Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of the HVAC installation technician. These include the following:
* Number of times projects are completed on schedule.
* Number of positive reviews from customers.
* Ability to work with others in a team environment.
* Number of callbacks on workmanship.
* Cleanliness and organization of work site and work vehicle.
* Accuracy of paperwork including time cards.
* Ability to build and construct ductwork and fittings.
* Number of tool/equipment breaks due to lack of maintenance or proper use.
Training Provided:
The company is dedicated to providing the following support and training:
* Ongoing technical training for the advancement of technical ability.
* Manufacturer and supplier training.
* EPA licensing preparation and training.
* Any related education will be considered on a case by case basis.
Working Conditions:
Varying work conditions exist with this position. Uncontrolled environments included with this position are:
Job sites in various phases of construction, highways/roadways used with company vehicles, homes
owned by customers including various and intrinsic hazards, exposure to weather conditions. Controlled
environment includes the Healthy Home Heating & Cooling shops/offices/warehouses which are maintained in a safe manner.
