What you'll do:
Build your team
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Overhead Crane Service Technicians and Inspectors
Oversee all field service operations: inspections, PM programs, repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades, and emergency service
Plan schedules, assign work, and ensure technicians are deployed efficiently and effectively
Review and approve service tickets, proposals, repair recommendations, and customer reports
Serve as the main point of contact for service-related customer needs
Conduct site visits, solve technical escalations, and guide technicians on complex mechanical/electrical issues
Ensure full compliance with safety standards, load-testing requirements, and industry regulations
Drive continuous improvement across service processes, documentation, safety practices, and customer satisfaction
Support sales by identifying equipment issues, upgrade opportunities, and long-term maintenance solutions
Maintain accurate service records, inspection logs, and reporting for leadership
What you bring:
5+ years of experience working with overhead cranes, hoists, and material-handling equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical background (VFDs, controls, three-phase power, motors, wire rope, structural components)
2-3+ years of leadership, foreman, or supervisory experience in a service environment
Solid understanding of crane safety, OSHA requirements, inspection standards, and load-testing procedures
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in the field as needed to support technicians and high-priority jobs
Valid driver's license
Crane/rigging certifications are a plus

This is an entry level position that reports to a Field Supervisor. The Field Installer is responsible for timely installation of tents as well as safe use of tents and related equipment. Must be able to lift heavy equipment as the work is very physical and demanding, requiring both strength and stamina. The Field Installer is responsible for installation, takedown, repairs of fabric structures along with the loading and unloading of equipment supply trucks.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist in preparation, delivery and pickup of rental equipment as needed
Assist in the assembly and disassembly of fabric structures
Travel to and from the jobsites as needed
Unload and carry equipment, materials, and supplies around the jobsite
Safely and properly use forklifts and man-baskets to construct and takedown of structures.
Must be able to properly install fabric structures and ensure functionality of the structure throughout the contract of the customer
Understand, identify, and use the proper hand tools for use on the jobsite
Possess proficiency in the operation of all-terrain scissor lifts, forklifts and man baskets
Clean up worksite from debris and discarded materials
Build, repair, and maintain fabric and hard-side walls, doors, and framework
Be aware of all and ensure necessary safety instructions for loading materials and equipment, along with installation and removal
Assemble various tents per manufacturer, company, safety policy and procedures
Coordinate with Field Supervisor on layout
Ensure proper installation and layout of all rentals per agreement, specification, and CAD diagram
Inspect tent and accessories for damages before removing. Complete paperwork if necessary
Explain proper usage and safety features of equipment
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations in written or verbal form
Comply with government safety requirements and other regulations
Perform other duties as assigned and required

Position Summary
The retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a unique hybrid role for stores and is intended as a key pipeline for future career-growth within Firestone Complete Auto Care. Responsibilities

Job Summary:
NTI is seeking a Traveling Foreman with will lead a team, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to customer quality standards while performing advanced fiber optic splicing and testing tasks. This role requires national travel to various project sites and combines leadership, project management, and technical expertise in fiber optic infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure project safety, quality, schedule, and cost compliance with company/client standards.
Lead 2-3 crew members, optimizing skills and equipment use.
Act as primary liaison between Project Manager and crew.
Interpret customer prints to plan tasks and schedule work.
Hold daily pre-work meetings to align on goals and safety.
Verify construction and splicing work meets standards.
Complete phase-specific closeout documentation.
Document job progress with photos.
Maintain company equipment (vehicles, trailers, test tools).
Perform precise fusion and mid-sheath splicing on high-count fiber cables (864ct, 1728ct, 3456ct).
Conduct live fiber splicing during maintenance windows to minimize disruptions.
Install fiber optic cables in various environments (underground, aerial, indoor).
Execute OTDR/OLTS testing to assess cable performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve live network fiber issues.
Produce FastReporter reports for test and splicing documentation.
Operate Fujikura splicers and EXFO testers for low-loss splices and diagnostics.
Pull fiber cables through conduits/ducts for installations.
Support cabinet bolting and basket tray installation (preferred).
Safely operate scissor lifts for elevated work (preferred).
Maintain a clean workspace and follow proper handling procedures for fiber optic materials and equipment.
Comply with OSHA, IBEW Local, and NTI safety standards
Work Schedule and Environment:
Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, adapting to project requirements.
Perform tasks during daytime and occasional nighttime maintenance windows as required by client schedules.
Stand for extended periods (8-10 hours per day) and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Experience and Education:
5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry with related experience in construction and tower work.
2-3 years of verifiable experience splicing and testing fiber optic cables for dark fiber providers (e.g., Zayo), meeting stringent quality and performance standards.
3+ years of hands-on experience using Fujikura fusion splicing machines for high-count fiber splicing (864ct, 1728ct, 3456ct).
3+ years of experience performing OTDR and OLTS testing with EXFO testing equipment.
2+ years of experience producing Fast Reporter reports for network documentation.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven ability to perform mid-sheath (ring-cut) splicing and live fiber network splicing with minimal service disruption.
Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving issues on live/active network fiber.
Familiarity with cable pulling, cabinet bolting, basket tray installation, and scissor lift operation (preferred).
Strong written and oral communication skills for effective team and client interactions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
Ability to pass a clean background check and drug screen.
Valid driver's license required.
Fluency in English for effective communication.
Certification in fiber optic splicing or testing (e.g., FOA CFOT, BICSI, or equivalent) preferred.
Prior experience with major telecommunications carriers or dark fiber providers beyond Zayo preferred.
Familiarity with additional fiber optic testing tools or software beyond EXFO and FastReporter preferred.
