Responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and repairing all Air Treatment commercial HVAC equipment. This includes repairing, rebuilding, and replacing bearings, motors, heat exchanges, air conditioning compressors, boilers, ventilation, and air conditioning systems with a special emphasis on Central Plant solutions that include chillers containing Turbocor magnetic bearing technology; monitoring and maintaining truck inventory and tools. Finally, the applicant should be self-sufficient with a strong eye towards detail and documentation of work done.Requirements:
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform equipment startup including detailed documentation and document management.
Analyze, troubleshoot, install, repair, rebuild, adjust, and replace mechanical equipment including but not limited to bearings, motors, heat exchanges, air conditioning compressors, water and pneumatic valves, humidity control units, and complex integrated control systems.
Provide technical training and guidance, while assisting technicians in troubleshooting systems.
Monitor and maintain safety practices to ensure procedures are followed.
Oversee, analyze, troubleshoot, install, repair, rebuild, replace, and adjust pneumatic, electrical, and electro-pneumatic and digital control systems.
Query and monitor control systems as they relate to building automation, energy management and preventative maintenance operations. Work with System Integrator to integrate ATC equipment into the onsite BAS.
Interface with customers, sales engineers, construction and facilities personnel on projects, new construction, and equipment startup jobs.
Investigate related complaints and recommend solutions.
Perform acceptance inspections of new equipment installations and startups.
Assist in the research and make recommendations for changes to factory or site-specific technical specifications.
Respond to customer emergencies.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Advanced troubleshooting and repair on HVAC/R systems required.
Advanced mechanical skills and ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Ability to analyze all elements and dimensions of complex systems, isolating variables; identifying and evaluating alternatives; resourceful and innovative when arriving at a timely solution.
Advanced knowledge of HVAC/R systems and component level diagnostic skills.
Requires minimal supervision maximizes resources/technology to reach solutions.
Strong documentation and organizational skills a must.
Knowledge of 460-volt, AC/DC circuit and advanced troubleshooting skills preferred at hire.
Strong understanding of MODBUS and BACnet protocol and integration is a plus.
Ability to follow safety rules, integrating them into daily work habits, while utilizing provided safety equipment.
Education and Related Work Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational, trade school, or short-term course work in HVAC/R or a related discipline.
Requires formal training in four of the following areas: chillers, cooling towers, boilers, furnaces, refrigeration, or air conditioning equipment
More than five years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
Valid Driver's License
EPA 608 Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities :
Troubleshoot Equipment Faults:
Should demonstrate proper operation of audio, lighting, automation, video and projection systems and be able to detect when systems are not operating properly. Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, schematics and diagrams. Knowledge of system interaction with sound and electrician crafts also required. Often requires work indoors in dimly lit and dark conditions.
Remove and Install Equipment:
Removal and installation of Audio/Video/Projection/Lighting equipment, assemblies and components utilizing hand tools, power tools and technical documents. Requires the use of both hands above and below the waist, climbing, working in confined areas, lifting, bending, stooping, sitting, laying, crawling and exposure to high noise, heat, cold, dust and dirt.
Material handling, including lifting, holding, carrying and manipulation of objects up to 50 pounds alone or in teams. Requires bending/twisting at the waist, working with arms raised overhead and lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 20 lbs. (constantly) and up to 50 lbs. (frequently).
Preventive Maintenance Inspections:
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as outlined in written job plans to ensure venues open safely and on-time. Must be able to read, understand and follow checklists to properly verify and inspect equipment. Requires the use of hands, color and visual acuity as well as the use of flashlight and assorted tools. Exposure to heat, cold, sunlight and dampness.
Operational and Functional Checks:
Start and operate audio, lighting, electrical, video and projection systems to verify proper operation. Must be able to safely operate equipment and know what actions to take in the event of equipment failure or emergency. Must be able to operate shows both solo as well as part of a team.
Basic Qualifications :
Experience troubleshooting audio, lighting, automation, video and projection systems
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Experience supporting live entertainment events
Knowledge and familiarity with using computers
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in a broad background range of crafts or disciplines related to stage craft including audio, lighting, electrics, rigging and video
Preferred Qualifications:

Duties will include assisting in general building repairs, electrical troubleshooting and repairs, forklift repair and maintenance, changing and servicing lift batteries, and other general maintenance activities as designated by the Manager of Facility Maintenance.

+ Site inspections, equipment inspections, mechanical repairs, and replacements, all of which require good mobility, physical exertion, walking, bending, reaching, climbing ladders, carrying tools and parts, etc.
+ OSHA Good Manufacturing Processes, PSM, RMP.
+ Candidate will obtain OSHA Level A Hazmat Certification (24 hours, Medical Certification) within 90 days of employment. They must also be able to wear a full-face air-purifying respirator and pass a fit test.
+ Candidate must have or obtain RETA (CARO) Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator) and (CIRO) Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator Certification as experience and certification level permits. This is a prerequisite to attain Refrigeration Technician Level Ill classification.
+ Candidate must be willing to be on call for after-hours refrigeration issues.
+ Review semi-annual service reports and make recommendations for corrective action of all action items.
+ Assist the Corporate Refrigeration Team in annual capital budget planning.
+ Problem-Solving: a) Assessment of issue and impact on business model b) Communicate issue and impact to Maintenance and Facility Management and Senior Director of Corporate Refrigeration c) Co-develop team and plan for immediate issue abatement and remediation d) Co-develop team and plan for final issue abatement and remediation including associated schedule and costs
Years Of Experience
