Job Summary
The Lead Commercial Installer will lead the installation of electronic security systems valued from $10,000 to over $3 Million. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electronic security, access control, surveillance, and fire alarm systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the execution of commercial electronic security system installations. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Lead a team of installation technicians and subcontractors. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure successful project execution and professional development.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors. Address issues or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction and smooth operations.
Ensure the proper installation, configuration, and integration of electronic security systems, including access control, surveillance systems, gate operators, alarm systems, and other low-voltage technologies.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Work with project managers to identify job timelines, scope, and design changes.
Maintain detailed records of project progress, including installation reports, change orders, and equipment inventories. Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders.
Identify potential risks or issues related to installation projects and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Stay updated on industry regulations, codes, and standards.
Ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
Participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in leading the installation of integrated security systems with a focus on high-value projects.
In-depth knowledge of electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, gate operators, intrusion detection, fire alarms, and other low-voltage technologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Salesforce preferred.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of technicians and subcontractors. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
