Your Roles and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications/Skills:
Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 5+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Experience working with data center and POP infrastructure, including experience or deep understanding of OSP, ISP, interfacility cabling, fiber and copper distribution, AC/DC power systems, environmental controls, and relay rack/cabinet/cage construction.
Experience with installing and maintaining a wide variety of telecom/network equipment, including DWDMs, backbone and management routers, IP switches, as well as all optical and digital infrastructure.
Deep understanding of splicing, and an understanding of how to maintain and operate within a manhole, vault, or handhole environment.
Experience with telecommunications testing equipment from microscopes and source and power meters to OTDRs and experience testing across all SONET and Ethernet bandwidths.
Extensive knowledge of telecommunications testing standards and procedures from length, wire-mapping, and bit error rate to power, delay, loss, reflectance and dispersion.
Experience with state and local regulatory standards, procedures, and permitting requirements.
Ability to work effectively with local exchange carrier (LEC) and other telecom service provider technicians, building landlords, electricians, construction operators, and non-technical end users.
Ability to work independently, diagnose problems and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
Proficiency with spreadsheets, workflow and project management applications, and administrative software applications.

The primary responsibilities of the Coax splicer will be to splice/test coax cables aerial and underground in both outside (OSP) and inside (ISP) settings. Maintain control of outside plant (OSP) - inside plant (ISP) activities surrounding the assigned work area(s). What you will do
Under minimal supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). Diagnoses and repairs complex control systems malfunctions requiring extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems and ability to test and write modifications in multiple languages of systems software.

Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures.

Complete opening and closing duties, including property walks and landscaping assessments.

Perform janitorial tasks, including power washing, light exterior painting of speed bumps, curbs etc.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of community grounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all refrigerant is recovered and logged according to the EPA certification.
Must maintain a Universal Certification.
Ensure that the hot works permit requirements are followed.
Ensure that all HVAC & R equipment is having the preventive maintenance done according to manufactures or health department requirements.
Ensure that onsite HVAC & R parts are stocked for the necessary repairs.
Ensure that if preventive maintenance or repairs to any HVAC & R equipment that gets completed that all areas are cleaned and disposed of.
Ensure that the logging of equipment data, equipment repairs, and refrigerant usage are maintained.
