We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-focused Copier and Printer Installer & Service Technician with extensive experience in the installation, customer training, and repair of high-end multifunction printers (MFPs), copiers, and Printers. Willing and able to travel for at least 3 weeks per month in different markets. Detail-oriented with a professional appearance and a passion for technology, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Installation & Setup: Deliver, install, and configure copiers, printers, and MFPs at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance and connectivity.· Customer Training: Educate clients on proper equipment use, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance best practices.· Documentation: Maintain accurate records, installation files, and customer interaction notes.· Collaboration: Work closely with Team lead, sales, support, and logistics teams to ensure seamless installation.· Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving technologies, firmware updates, and manufacturer certifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
· Proven experience installing and servicing copiers, printers, and MFPs (e.g., Canon, HP, Konica)· Strong understanding of networking, print drivers· Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills.· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.· Strong communication and customer service skills.· Ability to lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs.).· Certifications from major OEMs (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities
Adhere to all industry and PIRTEK safety standards
Carry out service calls & customer acquisition visits in your local area
Identify faulty hoses and/or hose assemblies to service the customers' needs
Remove worn or broken hoses before fabricating and installing the new replacement
Ensure oil spills / environmental contaminants, due to hose failure and/or repair, are cleaned or contained to the customer's satisfaction (as well as federal, state and local regulations)
Input service details on a tablet to create accurate invoices
Develop relationships with new and existing customers
Maintain mobile service unit, tools, and equipment
Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues on-site and conducting frequent follow-up visits
Participate in the rotating On-Call schedule (with increased incentive pay)
Perform other related duties as assigned
Work Environment You will be operating out of a purpose-built mobile service unit - a workshop-van that is outfitted with all the tools and machinery needed to successfully service your local area.
Territory-based service areas
Service locations may differ in terrain, noise level, temperature, common amenities available, etc.

Perform fiber splicing with core alignment splicing machine for drops and pigtails
Execute repairs on underground drop pipes, re-pull underground fiber drops, and splice drops between the distribution vault and the premise NID
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot OSP distribution fiber from the Main OLT Hub and FDH cabinets to the end user
Service and maintain splitter cabinets, patch panels, NIDs, and associated equipment
Install fiber in various customer premises, including single-family homes and MDU high-rises

Ability to work designated schedule as well as maintain attendance and punctuality.
Intermediate knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models; familiar with computer-aided design (CAD) drawings.
Basic knowledge of machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Ability to travel (approximately 60-80% of the time) to remote US locations.
Valid driver's license; able to meet company safe driving requirements.
Must be able to secure a US Passport and/or Passport card as required
Must be able to obtain and maintain both a DoD Secret clearance and DHS Customs and Border Protection (CBP) adjudicated background investigation (BI).
SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor environments exposed to varying high or low temperatures.
Must have sufficient physical agility to walk, climb, stand, crawl, and stretch on a continuing basis.
Must be able to work at moderately high heights up to 60 feet above the ground using bucket trucks, scissor lifts, and ladders.
Must be able to travel in airplanes to and from destinations on a regular basis
Must be able to identify colors for cable identification and installation purposes
