Role: Low Voltage Technician specializing in large-scale industrial environments like distribution centers. Primary Function: To install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling infrastructure for systems such as data networks, security, and audio/visual equipment. Key Activities: Cable pulling (fiber and copper), route preparation (j-hooks, pathways), termination, testing, and system documentation in environments with high ceilings, often requiring lift operation. Key Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute installations. Safely and efficiently pull, route, and dress both copper and fiber optic cables through high-ceiling environments like large distribution centers. Operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment to access high-level cabling pathways. Install cable management hardware such as j-hooks, cable trays, and racks. Terminate cables (e.g., Cat6) and patch them into equipment like switches and patch panels.
