ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Building Automation Controls Technician here at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' facilities.
You will report to the Sr Field Service Supervisor and travel to the customer sites in the Orlando areas.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the performance and functionality of building automation systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems automation.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.
Travel 50-75% within the state and possibly out of state.
YOU MUST HAVE
3+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation controls.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's license.
WE VALUE
Technical degree is a plus.
Tridium Niagara framework experience.
N4 certification.
General network knowledge
Experience working with open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.)
Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience

Summary
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for providing maintenance, modification, installation, calibration, commissioning, validation, and technical support to users of equipment supplied by Fedegari Technologies, to a standard consistent with the high quality of the equipment and with the reasonable expectations of the customers.
Essential Functions

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance outlined in technical manuals required on Fedegari product lines. This includes disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; reassembling as required; adjusting/calibrating machines using specialized tools.

Perform validation activities including installation qualification, operation qualification, performance qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), thermal mapping and cycle development.
Perform and supervise installation of the Fedegari product line.
Perform factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).
Perform administrative duties as assigned to ensure effective planning, utilization, and required paperwork completion. This includes, but is not limited to, completion of service call certificates (SCC), relevant expense reports, calibration certificates and protocols.
Develop and maintain effective communicative relationships with customers and managers. Communicate activities to customers to include scheduling of maintenance and estimated time of arrival for unscheduled work. Utilize provided product and industry knowledge to assure customer's expectations of service are exceeded.
Respond to routine customer and sales questions regarding equipment operation and performance or direct questions to more experienced colleagues.
Maintains courteous, smart, and professional demeanor when collaborating with customers, contractors, management, and all Fedegari colleagues. Utilize customer protocols/standard operating procedure (SOP) when entering and exiting facilities. Follows all Fedegari and customer health and safety protocols and procedures.
Offer Fedegari solutions to customers to enhance sales and growth in the field; pass on leads to management and sales when possible. Closely network with all other Field Engineers globally within the Fedegari Group team.

What You'll Do:

Position Overview/Job Summary:
Panel Technicians II-Ill are responsible for integrating electronic equipment systems for space system components for the Artemis programs. Technicians are also responsible for assembling of complex electromechanical racks, panels and subassemblies.
As the Panel Technician, your contributions will be critical to ensuring safe, consistent, and groundbreaking advancements in human spaceflight.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check, including verification of employment and education.
Must be physically capable to conduct field inspections and participate in project walkdowns which require the following activities: extensive walking in and around a shop and construction site, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, walking on elevated platforms, walking on uneven surfaces, climbing in very small and/or confined spaces, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Associate degree in related field preferred. Experience in lieu of college education will be considered.
Three (3+) years' experience as an electrical/cable fabrication technician or other relevant industry experience. Applicants with experience that exceed the minimum may be considered for a higher-level Avionics Technician position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous Experience working with panel, wiring and mechanical installs & experience with engineering drawings, wire diagrams, and electrical schematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/365 including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
Experience with avionics/panel manufacturing and operation of related test equipment. Proficiency in harsh environment test & assembly procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC/ WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, J-STD-001, and ANSI/ESD S20.20.
Proficient in using measurement tools and understanding basic math concepts.

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Install Technician include:
Install HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
