Duties & Responsibilities
Wiring and building PLC cabinets and pre-wiring the corresponding sensors, gauges, and components for quick field installations

The Position:
This role supports areas of field Service operation within Sungrow USA related to commissioning, warranty, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of the expanding installed sites in the region. Reporting to the regional field service supervisor, this position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and commissioning support of PV inverters and ancillary equipment/ systems, usually at the customer's site or at a staging yard/warehouse. This position will comply with the Safety Mandate, “ZERO HARM,” to ensure safe and efficient work and operation of the facility for all personnel and equipment. Ensures that personnel and safety issues are given priority to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Implements and enforces safety management policy and procedures regarding the facility: safety information, hazard analysis, safe operations/Maintenance Training, subcontractor compliance, plant integrity, work permits, emergency planning, and response.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of technical assignments involving the installation, operation, testing, and maintenance of string and central solar inverter and/or BESS Systems, PCS, batteries, and ancillary equipment.
Perform general troubleshooting and diagnosis under Sungrow's maintenance and repair guidelines.
As needed, support and perform pre-commissioning (with and without grid emulator) and commissioning of solar inverters and BESS systems within schedule and work plans
Additionally, for those on O&M capacity, perform Preventive Maintenance and other Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) activities per the contract
Investigate solar plant issues such as DC array grid faults, inverter design issues, and utility grid transients. For BESS positions, these investigations may also involve SOC checks and module /component-level troubleshooting, replacement of electrical/electronic parts, SW version updates, etc.
Provide feedback to the engineering and project team on possible mechanical and electrical design improvements.
Lead upgrade/rework projects (software and hardware) in the field and interact with customers to explain the project's technical scope and manage work schedule and commitments.
Work with customer SCADA engineers to set up systems communication and parameters involving Sungrow's controllers and F&G systems as needed.
Accurately describes troubleshooting sequences and procedures which they have observed
Identifies and documents basic mechanical and electrical issues and problems
Performs basic corrective maintenance
Create/modify Field Service procedures for safety troubleshooting and maintenance if required.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and motor vehicle check.

TruBlue of Indy North is a Home Ally Service company dedicated to providing premium handyman services with bonded and insured technicians, giving our customers peace of mind. Our mission is to help people maintain the safety and value of their homes by offering handyman services, home assessments, and regular maintenance. We are searching for a reliable lead home technician (handyman/handywoman) to provide general home services to our customers in our community AND lead a group of technicians who will report to you. We want to hear from you if you have 10 or more years of paid experience in general carpentry and handyman work.
We are looking for a seasoned Team Leader with the following experience:
Bathroom upgrades / remodel
Drywall repair / patching/ caulking
Flooring repair and installation
General carpentry
General home repairs and handyman work
Kitchen repair / remodel
Minor plumbing and electrical
Painting interior and exterior

The appropriate candidate for the Lead Technician/Handyman position will be proficient in miscellaneous around-the-house type repairs like carpentry, basic plumbing, drywall, painting, and basic electrical. Candidates do not need to be licensed tradesmen, but those candidates are welcome to apply.
Qualified candidates will need a driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and standard tools. Candidate must also be a legal citizen of the US and speak fluent English.
