We are currently looking for an experienced Full-Time Facilities Technician to join our team in our Plainville, CT site. This role will work closely onsite with other departments and must be able to collaborate effectively with others to ensure that needs and specifications are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in a pharmaceutical company and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple site-specific projects, and feel comfortable leading when necessary.
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this position include:
Ensure that the facility, equipment, and facilities systems are properly serviced, cleaned, maintained, and repaired.
Oversee the daily activities for the physical operation and maintenance of facility and property.
Ensure proper functioning of cleanroom environments through routine inspection and servicing of HVAC and filtration systems.
Schedules, coordinates and tracks programs for facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair.
Lead the troubleshooting and response to equipment failure and utility outages.
Assist in the execution of calibrations for critical equipment, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Author and revise Facilities and Maintenance SOPs and other controlled documents.
Prepare/write change control reports and deviation reports as necessary.
Assist in the implementation of Capital Investment Projects.
Give presentations to site management and when needed, regulatory agencies on departmental items, updates, and event status.
Complete Maintenance request work orders.
Ensure that an adequate inventory of supplies and spare parts is maintained.
This role is highly visible and extremely service oriented. A very flexible attitude, willingness to “roll up one's sleeves” and do whatever is needed.
Adhere strictly to SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) during all maintenance operations.
Perform general facility upkeep as needed, including structural maintenance and utility servicing.
Must be available 24/7 365 to respond to emergency situations.
Other general facilities and equipment maintenance duties may be assigned
Skills and Experience:
Associate's degree or relevant experience in Facilities, Engineering, and technical schooling preferred
3-5 years Facilities experience in a pharmaceutical/ manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Demonstrate proficiency with building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, DI/ WFI process water, high pressure steam boilers, refrigeration
Able to work in a team across departments and sites
Ability to represent the department or organization in local and global projects with assistance from other cross functional team members
Ability to work independently
Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change to improve
site facilities maintenance operations
Demonstrate initiative and good interpersonal skills, able to work in a team
Ability to work with Quality Systems and regulatory requirements such as CFRs, GMP, FDA, OSHA
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, as needed
Must be creative and flexible
Must have good attention to detail
Proven ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English
Demonstrated ability to comply with required safety practices

Position Summary:
The Field Technician will travel to store locations to perform maintenance and service repairs on various types of commercial food service equipment. Candidate will work with dispatchers and team supervisors to manage workload to complete calls in timely manner.
Responsibilities:

Hi. Dr. David Park here. I know I just threw a whole bunch of stats and data at you up there, but I wanted to explain pretty much the goal and the achievable result for the dental ownership position.
I guess I was a little different than most - I just wanted to own my own dental practice as soon as I got out. Any mistakes or systems that I'd make would be faster that way. I also knew that the upside of ownership would be much better than the alternative, which is associate dentist. Ownership would provide me financial freedom, being my own boss, keeping any profits that the practice made and, eventually, creating systems so that I could eventually hire people and sit back and operate the business.
And so, I graduated and started my career as an owner dentist. Though there was an issue - student loans. I don't know how much you have, but I had some crazy amount like $550,000. Not only that, but my wife had about $500,000 as well (she's also a dentist).
But that's not the scary part. The scary part is the interest. I was in the IBR program where you pay like the absolute minimum. And that's when it hit me. While I was paying the minimum, my principal balance kept going up. I did this for about 3 years without truly knowing what was going on. So yeah, I was making money and invested into real estate, but decided to just pay off over a million dollars in student loans.
The point I'm trying to make is that being an associate dentist isn't what it used to be. Associates have student loans they have to pay (probably the biggest one), car loans, rent / mortgage, family, life, and the cycle goes on and on.
And that's precisely why I'm trying to let as many associate docs know the value of ownership and opportunity cost.
Though we averaged a little over 5 mil for our practices, the top owner doc produced $8,864,788 for the year of 2024. I guess he was impressed by the system, so he took over another CLD practice… and this is the doc that became an owner doc after 8 months of graduation. Hi. Dr. David Park here. I know I just threw a whole bunch of stats and data at you up there, but I wanted to explain pretty much the goal and the achievable result for the dental ownership position.
I guess I was a little different than most - I just wanted to own my own dental practice as soon as I got out. Any mistakes or systems that I'd make would be faster that way. I also knew that the upside of ownership would be much better than the alternative, which is associate dentist. Ownership would provide me financial freedom, being my own boss, keeping any profits that the practice made and, eventually, creating systems so that I could eventually hire people and sit back and operate the business.
And so, I graduated and started my career as an owner dentist. Though there was an issue - student loans. I don't know how much you have, but I had some crazy amount like $550,000. Not only that, but my wife had about $500,000 as well (she's also a dentist).
But that's not the scary part. The scary part is the interest. I was in the IBR program where you pay like the absolute minimum. And that's when it hit me. While I was paying the minimum, my principal balance kept going up. I did this for about 3 years without truly knowing what was going on. So yeah, I was making money and invested into real estate, but decided to just pay off over a million dollars in student loans.
The point I'm trying to make is that being an associate dentist isn't what it used to be. Associates have student loans they have to pay (probably the biggest one), car loans, rent / mortgage, family, life, and the cycle goes on and on.
And that's precisely why I'm trying to let as many associate docs know the value of ownership and opportunity cost.
Though we averaged a little over 5 mil for our practices, the top owner doc produced $8,864,788 for the year of 2024. I guess he was impressed by the system, so he took over another CLD practice… and this is the doc that became an owner doc after 8 months of graduation. Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
After-Hours Service: Participate in a call rotation schedule with compensation for on-call duty and time and a half for after-hours emergency calls.
Customer Interaction: Provide professional advice and answers to customer questions to ensure safety and comfort.
Company Vehicle: Safely operate and maintain a clean, stocked work van.
Apprentice Oversight: Mentor and oversee apprentice technicians on job sites.
Additional Responsibilities:
Equipment Installation: Install compressors, boilers, furnaces, receivers, condensers, pumps, valves, controls, and ductwork.
Tool Operation: Use and maintain hand and power tools safely.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of time, labor, and materials, and submit paperwork timely.
Customer Consultation: Advise on upgrades, additions, or replacements from Sandri's product lines.
Professional Development: Maintain licenses and certifications; achieve NORA Bronze certification within one year.
Team Participation: Engage in meetings, training sessions, and continuing education activities.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses: Valid driver's license in good standing required.
Experience: 3+ years in HVAC preferred.
Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or vocational certificate and MA Oil Burner license. Candidates without these will be hired as apprentices and must meet requirements within one year.
Skills:
Proficiency in arithmetic calculations for HVAC/R equipment.
Mechanical ability and HVAC trade knowledge.
Safe operation of tools and accurate reading of gauges and diagnostic equipment.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work in variable conditions and locations.
Exposure to machinery, heat, humidity, dust, fumes, gases, and cold.
Mobility to inspect customer premises, climb stairs, and work from heights.
Safe operation of service vehicle.
Effective communication skills.
Constant use of computers, tablets, tools, and equipment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 75 pounds; assist with heavier weights.

Only $1,958,239… while only open four days a week :) (I had an associate and I didn't even work in the dental office)

Hi. Dr. David Park here. I know I just threw a whole bunch of stats and data at you up there, but I wanted to explain pretty much the goal and the achievable result for the dental ownership position.
I guess I was a little different than most - I just wanted to own my own dental practice as soon as I got out. Any mistakes or systems that I'd make would be faster that way. I also knew that the upside of ownership would be much better than the alternative, which is associate dentist. Ownership would provide me financial freedom, being my own boss, keeping any profits that the practice made and, eventually, creating systems so that I could eventually hire people and sit back and operate the business.
And so, I graduated and started my career as an owner dentist. Though there was an issue - student loans. I don't know how much you have, but I had some crazy amount like $550,000. Not only that, but my wife had about $500,000 as well (she's also a dentist).
But that's not the scary part. The scary part is the interest. I was in the IBR program where you pay like the absolute minimum. And that's when it hit me. While I was paying the minimum, my principal balance kept going up. I did this for about 3 years without truly knowing what was going on. So yeah, I was making money and invested into real estate, but decided to just pay off over a million dollars in student loans.
The point I'm trying to make is that being an associate dentist isn't what it used to be. Associates have student loans they have to pay (probably the biggest one), car loans, rent / mortgage, family, life, and the cycle goes on and on.
And that's precisely why I'm trying to let as many associate docs know the value of ownership and opportunity cost.
Though we averaged a little over 5 mil for our practices, the top owner doc produced $8,864,788 for the year of 2024. I guess he was impressed by the system, so he took over another CLD practice… and this is the doc that became an owner doc after 8 months of graduation. And to complete the range, the bottom number is $1,958,239 while we had one full time and one part time doc on site (four days a week). I own this practice, but didn't have to work in it the whole year and still made this much. These are truly achievable results because, well, we did it and you can come to meet us whenever. And yes, it sounds too good to be true because I feel it too as I'm writing this. But you'll just have to see it for yourself. We're a legit company and we're here.
