ABOUT THE JOB
Reporting to the Territory Manager, the Garage Door Installer is responsible for the construction, installation, and/or maintenance of overhead garage doors. In this career, you work with carpentry tools and various materials to install, repair, maintain, or replace doors. You must be able to operate hand and power tools, lift heavy materials, and drive to job sites to assess work and complete necessary actions. Before finishing a job, you ensure the garage door opener and all electronic components are working properly. You communicate directly with clients to provide satisfactory customer service. A Garage Door Installer is also responsible for documenting work and maintaining inventory.
Responsibilities of the Garage Door Installer:
● Safely operating company vehicle
● Maintaining a safe and clean work site, equipment, and company vehicle
● Assisting with commercial and residential garage door issues
● Review work orders for accuracy and completeness before departing the job site
● Working hand in hand with management to ensure all job site readiness and reporting
any issues immediately
Requirements of the Garage Door Installer:
● High school diploma or GED required
● Mechanically inclined
● Ability to work a full-time schedule
● Valid and clean 3-year driving record (MVR will be run prior to hire)
● Relevant prior experience in a related field of garage door and opener service
construction, framing, HVAC, or related field

Our utilities client is looking for an experienced Fiber Tech. This position implements fiber optic cable routes pertaining to construction, installation, and splicing for network and customer work orders. Obtains material via provided work orders and purchase orders, follow detailed construction and/or splicing instructions and method of procedure for all installations and service-affecting projects. Constructs and/or configure the appropriate fiber facilities by following detailed work orders. Notifies supervisor of low or inadequate fiber facilities via as-builts and makes recommendations from on-site observations. Helps maintain fiber optic facility records by providing detailed updates after the work orders have been implemented.
Essential Functions
Implements, installs, tests, splices, and maintains ground and aerial fiber optic cable routes.
Helps manage network projects by ensuring work orders are completed on schedule.
Provides site inspection and as-builts for both new and maintenance projects.
Performs route surveillance.
Helps produce preliminary engineering and costs by gathering information as needed to support engineering.

Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly. Requirements:
Experience of working with your hands, whether that's in construction, manufacturing or even a hobby.
Having experience working in facilities maintenance can be very helpful.
It is helpful, but not necessary to have an art background. Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. If you are color blind than this is not the job for you.
The training process is extensive so we are only interested in hiring someone who can make at least a 2-year commitment.

In this role, you will be responsible for installation, programming, and service of commercial building digital control systems. These responsibilities will increase based on exposure to tasks, ability to develop troubleshooting skill set, and consistent and accurate completion of assignments. What you will do:
* Provide responsive and professional customer service with the goal of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
* Identify, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot direct digital control systems
* Perform preventative maintenance, commissioning, and replacement modifications as needed or requested by customers
* Maintain building automation systems by inspecting trend logs, reports, schedules, applications, hardware, and programming
* Provide controls technical support to HVAC technicians
* Train and mentor less experienced technicians
* Create and/or implement programming and graphics for new installations and retrofit projects
* Commission controls installations and verify that control sequences meet scope, design, or specifications
* Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner
* Interact and train customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call and explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets
* Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld
* Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
* Technical training and 5+ years of equivalent combination of education and experience
* Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
* Rotational Emergency Call Support as required
* Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in BAS, HVAC, or related industry
* Proficiency with test instruments and calibration tools
* Competency in operation of engineering/commissioning tools, DDC controllers and field devices, BACnet protocol fundamentals

* Ability to read low voltage wiring diagrams and controls flow diagrams
* Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 certification
* Experience with any common integration protocols such as: BACnet MST / IP, LON, Modbus TCP / RTU, Ethernet OIP, MQTT, or SQL
* Strong computer skills, including computer networking fundamentals
* OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (Daikin provides this training during onboarding process)
* Current first aid / CPR card
