Responsibilities
Conducts in-home installation of company products and collects payment
Conducts in-home installation repairs, as needed
Provides friendly and knowledgeable service to ensure customer satisfaction
Solicits referrals and/or canvasses territory to obtain at least three leads per month
Completes and submits installation paperwork on a daily basis
Maintains warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion
Maintains assigned van, including washing, restocking supplies, etc.
Complies with and follows all safety regulations

Cutting, filing, drilling, modifying infrastructure components and working with various tools such as bandsaw, hammer drill, jigsaw, ratchet/sockets, etc…
Installation of data equipment cabinets and frames, data servers, switches, routers, repeaters, bridges, gateways, multiplexers, transceivers, firewalls.
Making connections / terminations to BDFBs and fuse panels.
Identify, label, measure, terminate and physically route power cables to servers, switches, and other equipment, adhering to electrical safety standards.
Identify, label, measure, terminate and physically route fiber optic and copper cables for high-speed data transmission, ensuring precise cable management and minimal signal loss
Set up and install power distribution units (PDUs), ensuring redundancy and proper load balancing to prevent power issues.

Conduct fiber light meter, CAT5/6 and volt ohm meter testing to ensure proper levels, continuity, and termination points.

The Specialist Technician for Installing Showers and Residential Glass Replacement is key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation of residential and commercial flat glass and related glass products such as windows, storefronts, mirrors, display cases, shower doors, etc. You will also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to sell additional work. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
Ideally you have prior experience in the flat glass industry and have proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines.
Specific Responsibilities:
Install glass, mirrors, door and window hardware in replacement and new installations
Insure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of vehicle
Sell flat glass products and services to customers
Conduct accurate field measuring
Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
Execute Service with Advanced Training (SWAT)
Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions
Job Requirements:
Prior experience in the flat glass industry installing showers is a plus
Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels
Physical ability to lift heavy objects such as shower panels and door

Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
Excellent communication skills
