Perform finish carpentry - assist in preparing the home for the installation of windows and doors to include removing old windows and doors and setting new windows and doors - seeing the entirety of the project through to completion.
Use hand tools to install windows, doors, trim, and other products according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines.
Load/unload and position windows, doors and other products as part of a team on/off company vehicles and into job sites.
Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and work areas. May drive to customer sites (may use a company vehicle).
Verify the installation schedule, trip plan, and routing. Adhere to install schedule and escalate concerns with the trip plan and/or route to management.
Complete installation checklists and paperwork.
Provide courteous and professional customer service.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
Pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
2 years of windows and doors installation experience, carpentry experience, or similar transferable experience in a related field.
6 months' experience with hand tools such as various saws, wrenches, drill, hammer, etc.; reading and interpreting blueprints and/or window and door installation instructions; and completing installation paperwork or similar paperwork.
Basic understanding of different wood types and their applications and finishing techniques such as staining, painting, and sealing (preferred).
Heavy lifting: Physical ability to lift, carry, and work on ladders or in confined spaces; lifting 100lbs occasionally, 50lbs frequently.
Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, dependability, attention to detail, and craftsmanship.
Work Schedule
This is full-time employment; averaging 30-40 hours a week and can grow to 40-50 hours a week during peak season. Work hours are generally Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (dependent on projects and scheduling). Occasional Saturdays.

We are looking for a full-time employee with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience and proven skill in cabinetry building and installation, wood working, and/or finish-carpenter level work. The position involves building & assembling custom cabinets, shelving, and closet systems, unpacking raw materials and pallet deliveries, loading into & unloading out of our cabinet trucks, and installing at customer homes and commercial/industrial locations. This job does require fairly heavy lifting and moving cabinets around our shop and jobsites.
The preferred candidate must have 2-3+ years hands on experience with:
• Table saws, miter saws, skill saws, edge bander, sharpeners, impacts, drivers and drills, and all relevant hand tools
• High level of attention to detail, as necessary for reading and understanding design elevation plans, units of measurements and 3D design plans
• Assembling cabinets, finishing wood countertops, installing cabinet & closet hardware and accessories, such as pulls, knobs, hinges, cams, hangar rods, LED lighting systems
• Measuring, cutting and installing a variety of wood & melamine-wrapped particle board with ability to improvise and come up with ad hoc work-arounds on the fly when on-site.
