We are looking to hire several Sheet Metal Workers/Installers to join our self-perform team for ongoing work on Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, FL and the surrounding area. All work is to be performed on the military base and is paid the required Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, specific to the military base. Pay Range: $43.47-45.00 per hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Match Our Sheet Metal Workers/Installers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves the technical application of mechanical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements for this position include: * High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position. * 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. Our Sheet Metal Workers/Installers will be responsible for the fabrication and installation of ductwork, air distribution, and HVAC equipment on an active construction site, ensuring that work is done in accordance with relevant codes. Work involves the technical application of mechanical principles. This is all to be done using the appropriate equipment and implementing the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Requirements for this position include: * High school diploma or G.E.D. is the minimal education required for this position * 4 or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience as a journey-level sheet metal worker in a commercial, or facilities operations setting is required; government, military, or large commercial/industrial construction experience preferred * Experience in High Bay areas and work with turning veins experience preferred * Extensive rigging experience preferred * Hoisting Certifications preferred * Per contract stipulations, access to SUBASE Kings Bay is limited to United States citizens only.
