The Low Voltage (LV) Basic Installer is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of basic infrastructure and various equipment. This is an entry level position which requires classroom and on-the-job training as instructed by the LV Manager. The position will require travel and stay over as work sites require. Field Technician - Maintenance & Repairs/Fire Door Inspector This is specialized work involved in the inspection of Fire Rated Doors per NFPA 80. Employees in this job serve ensure that inspected facilities are in compliance with the NFPA 80 standards for fire door inspections and in accordance with Remedi8's Training Methods and Procedural Manual (TMP-001). They also perform field repair of fire rated doors, frames, and hardware per NFPA 80, NFPA 105, and the IBC (International Building Code) standards. The Low Voltage (LV) Level 2 Installer is responsible for the installation, service, and repair of basic infrastructure and various equipment. This is a level position which requires classroom and on-the-job training as instructed by the LV Manager. The position will require travel and stay over as work sites require. This position also requires a positive and contributing team member as well as the ability to identify needs and work independently. The LV Level 2 Installer is responsible for industry standard installation best practices and using various tools relying on past experiences, training, and certifications. This employee will work closely with other installers and the LV Best Practices Manager.
