Job Description Summary: The Installer (Recreation Equipment) is responsible for completing high quality installation services for recreation equipment and systems while performing individually or as a team member. This role always requires adherence to safety standards and effective collaboration. Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required. Site Preparation (10 %) Assess and prepare the installation site according to project specifications. Ensure all necessary tools and materials are available and in good condition. Installation (60 %) Assemble and install recreation equipment, including Splashpads, Playgrounds, and Mini Golf Courses, following detailed plans and instructions. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations. Quality Assurance (10 %) Conduct thorough inspections of installed equipment to ensure it meets safety and quality standards. Address any issues or defects promptly and report them to the Field Superintendent or Crew Lead. Work toward continuous quality improvement. Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures. Documentation (5 %) Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including time logs, equipment used, and any issues encountered. Complete and submit required documentation to the Field Superintendent or Crew Lead. Customer Interaction (10 %) Interact professionally with clients and stakeholders on-site, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Provide guidance on the proper use and maintenance of installed equipment. Training and Development (5 %) Participate in training sessions to stay updated on new installation techniques and safety protocols. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to enhance overall performance. Stay current with changing technology, including software and industry specific programs. Expectations: Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Field Superintendent, Crew Lead, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and resolve on-site challenges. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and ensure the safety of the installation site at all times. Travel Requirement: This position requires frequent travel to various project sites, sometimes for extended periods. Overnight and weekend travel may be necessary during the construction season (March-November). Candidates must live within commuting distance of Verona, WI or St. Paul, MN. Supervisory Responsibilities: The Installer (Recreation Equipment) has no supervisory responsibility. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, the individual in this position must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
