Position Summary:
Responsible for the complete and satisfactory installation of residential and/or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories. Communicates with customer to answer questions, resolves problems, and ensures complete customer satisfaction. Promotes products and services to customer. Trains other installers, performs install work on more difficult situations, and assists the Field Supervisor or General Manager on work audits, site supervision, and work planning. Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Works under the direction of the Field Supervisor or General Manager to install HVAC equipment and accessories in the customer's home
Installs heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications. As needed, performs limited diagnostics.
Designs, fabricates, and installs various ducts and duct fittings as required
Performs start-ups on air conditioning and heating systems and other components
Delivers excellent customer service and sustains high levels of customer satisfaction.
Promotes products and services to the customer. Calls Sales and Service Coordinator with specifics on replacement product sales leads generated from customer service visit.
Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete the installation work
Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and accounted for • Completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner. Collects payment from customer
Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns
Responsible for keeping installation vehicle clean and neat both inside and outside in keeping with the company's professional image
Follows standard procedures and process, ensures that the company vehicle is properly stocked, returns defective warranty parts to branch, and orders/replenishes vehicle stock as needed. May be responsible for completing material requisition forms and related administrative activities.
Assists the Field Supervisor or General Manager with site supervision, planning, and estimating
Assists the Field Supervisor or General Manager with completing quality audits on selected installations to ensure superior performance, quality, and customer satisfaction
Trains other installers in technical skills and company procedures, as assigned
Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned

Reports any contravention of legislation or company policy, procedure or program to direct supervisor/manager immediately
Corrects substandard acts or conditions within area of control

Never removes or renders ineffective any safety guards, devices, or clothing prescribed to be in place or worn
Complies with the general rules as prescribed by company program(s) procedure(s)
Operates devices or equipment as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s)
Participates in any safety initiatives, teams, or committees
Reports all injuries or incidents as prescribed by company program(s) or procedure(s) immediately
Provides input on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposure that could cause accidents
Does not perform any act that may endanger the safety or well-being of others
Does not engage in any pranks, contests, or rough boisterous behavior
Works in compliance with applicable legislative requirement
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED with additional training and 5 plus years' experience in HVAC technical training certification required
Must have Maine Licensing in Oil, as well as a Gas license
Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by federal, state, provincial, or local governmental laws or regulations for the geographical work area
EPA and safety certifications required
Proficient in the fundamentals of the operational functionality of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessories
Advanced skills at installing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessories
Proficient in the layout and installation requirements of duct work and duct fittings
Advanced mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment
Proficient and able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various installation projects
Advanced skills at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment
Proficient and able to properly start up and balance airflow and to properly align belts and pulleys on all systems with little to no supervision
Advanced skills installing electronic air cleaners, refrigeration systems, hot water systems, steam boiler systems, humidifiers, and related equipment with little to no supervision
Ability to calculate heat gain and loss on buildings using approved methods
Effective communication skills to communicate with customer and resolve customer issues, complaints, or concerns
Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed
Ability to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units. Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.

This position will require travel out of state for the day and operates during the 1st and 3rd shift. If you are working nights you will automatically be paid time and a half. The pay scale is between $25 - $28 an hour and focuses on millwork installation. The company will put you up in a hotel for travel and night work. Somebody with experience in carpentry or millwork will be the best candidate for this job.

As a critical part of the team, the Commercial Installer works onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security, Access Control CCTV, Fire Alarm and Security Systems. The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.
How you will do it
Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.
Works safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, loss of unused materials and cleans up installation debris.
Adheres to safety standards and local and national codes, with a high degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
Maintains appropriate local and National Fire / Security Industry Certifications.
Communicates with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site. Continuous proactive customer interactions including an in-depth understanding of customer(s) needs wants and systems currently in place.
Contacts customers prior to the date of scheduled installation to verify schedule.
Prepares estimates in accordance with prescribed instructions or directions of supervisor.
Follows proper schematic wiring diagrams and hook-up procedures.
Assists in monitoring project execution per plan. Reports problems or changes to supervisor or management.
Test's operation of system to the signal-receiving center to properly establish service.
Reads building, electrical and sprinkler blueprints as required.
Coordinates installations with police/fire departments and handles necessary records for notification of emergency calls.
Completes paperwork and on-site documentation as required.
Performs self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and application.
Performs other duties as assigned
May manage installation teams on larger projects.
Coach and mentor less experienced installers.

7. Inform the Foreman when items cannot be finished and need to be added to Punch Lit.
8. Complete Civil grading QC documents to ensure proper install and submitting docs to O&M, Senior Construction Manager, and the Director of Construction.
9. Tear down all equipment in preparation of demobilization and moving to next site.
10. Coordinate with construction managers for site plans, revisions, in-field changes or project delays.

YOUR LIFE AS A SOLAR INSTALLATION TECH
In this essential installation position, you represent our technical and service team as you provide prompt and quality work for our customers. You will be responsible for installing solar photovoltaic arrays by measuring and laying out roofs and grounds for racking. Safely, you will move modules and materials up and down ladders and secure and connect all fixtures and components as directed by your lead solar installer. You will follow the best practices for high-quality installations and help your crew members as needed. You will get a great sense of accomplishment seeing your finished work, and knowing you have done your part in moving to a more sustainable future!

Job Summary
Window World installers carefully remove old windows and doors from the home and replace them with new exterior remodeling products according to company standards and guidelines. Installers will pick up pre-sold product from Window Worlds warehouse and transport to customers homes for installation. Installers will complete installation of all new product, collect old product and debris for disposal back at the Window World location, and collect a completion certificate and final payment from the customer.
Responsibilities
Arrive at Window World location in a punctual manner to pick up pre-sold product and transport it to the customers home.
Remove and collect old windows and/or doors, to be disposed of at the Window World location.
Troubleshoot unforeseen issues in the field in an attempt to avoid rescheduling or extended installation time.
Complete installation projects in a professional and timely manner, including all finishing trims, insulates, and/or caulk.
Collect final payment, survey, and completion certificate from the customer.
Qualifications
Own a truck and/or trailer and/or van and all necessary tools to installs windows & doors. (Laborers exempt)
Maintain all required insurance, workers comp coverage, and licensing/credentials to perform window & doors installation in local area.
Must have knowledge and ability necessary for removal and installation of windows and doors.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Must have persistence and strong problem solving and time management skills.
Take pride in craftsmanship and finished work product.
Must be able to communicate in English fluently.
