The primary responsibilities of a wallcovering installer is measuring, cutting, and applying various types of wall coverings like paper, vinyl, murals, or fabric to interior walls and ceilings in commercial spaces, including preparing surfaces, mixing adhesives, and ensuring a smooth, professional finish by trimming excess material and maintaining precise alignment throughout the installation process; often requiring work at various heights using ladders and other tools. Plans, organizes and performs assigned functions in the installation, repair, renovation, modification, etc., of building high voltage distribution system. Performs maintenance on all high voltage distribution systems throughout all campuses. Performs switchgear cleaning, transformer testing, emergency generator servicing and testing. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an HVAC trade school or apprenticeship preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and service. EPA Section 608 certification required. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and control systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Proficient with HVAC diagnostic tools, gauges, and hand/power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor in confined spaces or at heights. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Skills Experience with both commercial and residential HVAC systems. Knowledge of energy efficiency principles and green technologies. Familiarity with building automation and smart thermostat systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
