Responsibilities:
Install, alter, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, ducts, and hoods for HVAC systems.
Utilizing blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
Selects appropriate material for each job based on desired or necessary strength.
Coordinates required shutdowns and startups of equipment with other departments after sheet metal installation.
Measures, cuts, and welds pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions.
Develops and maintains records for projects and repairs.
Inspect products for compliance with specifications and quality standards and requirements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in HVAC installation or service, or similar industries.
Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics to understand product specifications.
Safely operate machinery and tools involved in sheet metal work.
Complete sheet metal projects with accuracy and precision.
Ability to complete daily tasks with limited supervision and minimal errors.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to perform manual and repetitive tasks.

OSHA 10 certification is highly preferred.
