Essential FunctionsSUMMARY: The Field Assembly and Installation team will be responsible for installing, maintaining, assembling and repairing industrial power systems enclosures & components in various settings such as manufacturing plants, power stations and construction sites. Required Knowledge/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent is required OR any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties (required). 2+ years of experience as a millwright or industrial electrician is preferred 2+ years of experience working in adverse conditions such as inclement weather and high pressure, short timelines and having had worked at heights is preferred Broad mechanical & assembly experience with fuel/exhaust systems and piping is preferred Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Adept at working independently or in a small team environment. Must understand electrical schematics, technical manuals, detailed blueprints and engineering drawings. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively over the phone and in person. Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. As part of our team, you will demonstrate professionalism through positive communication and appearance, providing exceptional service to our customers. **Responsibilities** + Travel to customer sites to install and deliver portable HVAC equipment. + Demonstrate operation, use, and repair of all company equipment. + Check in and repair equipment, perform general shop duties, and deliver/install CC equipment. + Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls. + Train authorized operators or customers on the safe use of rented HVAC equipment. + Direct customers to sign appropriate paperwork and keep track of serial numbers. + Troubleshoot and understand the operation, function, specifications, capabilities, and controls of rental equipment. + Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to all company safety policies. + Clean and test returned equipment, ensuring operation and appearance meet standards. + Complete paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls. + Install flexible gas hoses on propane and natural gas applications. + Implement safe procedures to check gas connections. + Work with managers and sales engineers to maintain accurate records and track in-stock and rented equipment. + Be on call for emergency service, available on a rotating schedule for weekend and evening emergency service response calls. **Essential Skills** + Familiarity with HVAC systems. + Proficiency in mechanical and electrical skills. + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to operate and repair HVAC equipment. + Clean driving record. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Professional communication skills. + Ability to troubleshoot equipment effectively. + Understanding of gas applications and safe connection procedures. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a direct placement opportunity with a national company offering comprehensive benefits from the first month of employment, including health, vision, and dental plans, 401k match, volunteer time off, short and long-term disability, tuition reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program.
