Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have attention to detail and be punctual and reliable. Position is 24-30 hours per week with the possibility to transition to full time based on performance. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Unlocking storage buildings and trucks at beginning of day Reading daily delivery schedule to plan out day Prepares for client deliveries ensuring all furniture, soft goods and other required items are properly loaded and secured Ensures all installation supplies are loaded Installations/assembly of furniture and custom pieces Field measuring and using power tools at installation sites Ensures all assignments and requirements are properly understood prior to leaving shop Ensures all furniture arrives undamaged and is delivered into client's home without damage to residence Communicates with shop and/or customers regarding expected arrival times at destinations Retrieves and delivers furniture to our off-site storage facility Keeps off-site storage facility neatly organized Ensures that vehicles are cleaned inside and out and properly maintained Order and maintains supply inventory as needed Assists in wood working shop as needed Locking storage buildings and trucks at end of day Candidates must be: Reliable and punctual Friendly and mature Professional in image and demeanor Team oriented Customer oriented Proficient with a tape measure and power tools Comfortable working with high end furniture and particular clients Able to multi-task and work efficiently Able to shift gears as priorities change At least 21 years old Able to lift heavy furniture, 50 lbs + Able to use hand held tools for installations Able to drive a 17 ft. box truck Able to use GPS to locate destinations Able to problem solve and prioritize when multiple assignments are given Non-smoking Candidates must have: Valid drivers license Strong work ethic Clear criminal history required Ability to pass a drug test Reliable transportation to work Good driving record: No more than two tickets in the past two years or three in the past three years No more than one at fault accident in the past three years Excellent knowledge of Austin and surrounding areas Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30 - 6:00 with 30 minute break for lunch Some weekend hours are available on occasion Compensation: $20/hour Other: Company t-shirts are provided and must be worn
