TRS Craft Services is immediately seeking Event Installers for our client, an international provider of high-quality event services and structures. This is a permanent position.
Scope of Work: Safely and efficiently perform duties as assigned within designated work area.
Reference and adhere to schedule/start times as required on operations schedule
Consult with Site Manager about scope of work
Help maintain a safe and clean job site
Assist in assembly and dismantling at designated job sites while adhering to company standards
Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment to load and unload material at the event site
Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation in a time frames required by management
Follow and comply with all safety and company regulations, while maintaining site standards
Basic Knowledge of P7 (AS120), frame tents and Uniflex (AS200) structures
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary from time to time.

Job Summary
The Traveling Installer is responsible for installing proprietary thermoplastic, epoxy, or other decorative concrete overlays for a fast-growing leader in concrete surfacing. This role supports the Foreman in ensuring installation efficiency, including transporting materials, prepping sites, installing products, site cleanup, and warehouse organization. Frequent travel to outdoor job sites across Florida is required and may vary based on project schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work under the direction and supervision of the Foreman on job sites.
Load necessary materials onto work trucks for each days duties.
Drive vehicles to and from work sites, including vans, trucks, and vehicles towing trailers/mixers.
Operate power and hand tools (e.g., grinders, drills, quickie saws, Hiltis).
Move and transport mixers, full wheelbarrows, and other materials.
Follow procedures for chemical agents and pressure washing equipment to avoid property damage.
Cover walkways and surfaces with protective materials (plastic, cardboard, etc.).
Chip, scrape, grind, and prepare concrete surfaces for overlays.
Prime surfaces and fill holes/cracks before application.
Spread, level, and smooth overlay materials using trowels, gauge rakes, screed boxes, and other tools.
Maintain a safe and clean job site as directed by the Foreman.
Repair incidental damage (e.g., paint touch-ups, irrigation fixes).
Clean and maintain all tools and equipment.
Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
Organize and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
Regularly clean and wash company trucks.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
General knowledge of operating hand and power tools.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience working outdoors in construction, concrete installation, or decorative surfacing.
Experience in troweling concrete, decorative overlays, terrazzo, or epoxy rock.
Additional Skills and Abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This is a physically demanding, hands-on role requiring work in a variety of outdoor environments. The employee must be able to:

Perform tasks that involve bending, lifting heavy materials (up to 70 lbs), standing for long durations, and operating machinery.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

What you will do
As a critical part of the team, the Commercial Installer works onsite with our commercial customers to set up and program their Integrated Security fire and security systems. The Commercial Installer also dismantles and reconstructs equipment when necessary.
How you will do it
Installs appropriate devices; dismantles and reconstructs equipment as required by customer or Tyco Integrated Security.

Complete Work Orders at the job-site, following up with excellent customer service
