The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial ductwork installation and the ability to work well and mentor others! In this position, you will be responsible for installing new ductwork in various commercial buildings such as retail, office, restaurant, labs, and more. Select gauge and type of sheet metal according to products being fabricated or installed. Interpret specifications, blueprints and work orders as needed for an area of supervision. Install and direct installation of assemblies in buildings or worksites. Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules using knowledge of equipment, materials, and the capabilities of assigned personnel. Analyze and resolve work problems. Maintain time records and coordinates schedules. Provide input for project estimates and schedules. On-site Installation: Perform onsite installation of Parking and Revenue Control systems and Access Control equipment alongside other trained technicians. Installation duties include equipment bolt-down, wiring termination, establishing communications to software host, configuration, and testing of new equipment. Product Support: Provide support for multiple products, offering assistance with both software and hardware components. Technical Skills: Possess knowledge of electronics and mechanical devices. Proficient in PC computer skills, including working with various operating systems and networking. Client Support: Offer software and hardware support for clients and fellow field service technicians. Education: Electronics technical school training or equivalent is required. Technical Skills: Ability to work on proprietary software, hardware communications, programming, and repair. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation and maintenance tasks. This position is an integral part of our local day-to-day operations of our advertising program. The primary functions of the Bus Ad Installer are to complete and record the installation, maintenance, and removal of advertising graphics on vehicles and fixtures (including buses, bus shelters, and stations) throughout Providence and the surrounding area.
