Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a teaching environment
Patient population includes cardiac and higher-acuity stepdown cases
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
Floating required to three locations within 20 miles as needed
Uses Epic EMR; strong proficiency (level 3-4) required
Responsibilities include caring for PCU/stepdown patients with emphasis on cardiac monitoring and managing cardiac drips
All time off requests must be submitted upfront; additional RTO may not be approved
Strict white scrub dress code enforced
Free parking available in any unrestricted space
First-time travelers are accepted
Assignments at any affiliated location may not exceed 18 consecutive months, with a mandatory 6-month wait for re-assignment
Negative smoke/nicotine status is required for all employees
Required to complete time-sensitive onboarding modules promptly upon assignment confirmation
