After the first three days on campus, the Instructional Design intern is paired with a mentor on the Service Excellence team to dive into their internship focus. You will be given an authentic experience by working through real development of educational content and contributing to meaningful projects. On the final day, all our interns will return to campus to present their accomplishments and celebrate on how they made a direct impact on helping people live a better quality of life.
The Instructional Design Intern will support the development of high-quality, learner centered educational resources that enable operational excellence across the field teams within the organization. The intern will work with the Sales and Patient Education Instructional Design team gaining hands-on experience in content development, SME collaboration, LMS workflow, and adult learning application. This role provides meaningful work, guided development, and exposure to a full design cycle in a corporate medical device environment.
Program Details:
* 11-week program, first three days and the last day at our Minneapolis corporate office (weeks of 6/1/26-8/10/26)

Responsibilities
* Assist in the creation of education content in multiple platforms (primarily Articulate Storline & Rise, and Adobe Express)
* Follow established formatting, branding, and documentation standards for all created materials
* Partner with Subject Matter Experts to collect content and confirm accuracy
* Contribute to the drafting of learning objectives, content outlines, and curriculum structure for assigned learning projects
* Conduct quality assurance reviews on draft materials to ensure instructional clarity, consistency and usability
* Support LMS content loading, publishing and basic testing of uploaded courses
* Manage multiple priorities to meet departmental deadlines
* Present project work, experiences, and learnings during final week of internship
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Required
* Enrollment in an accredited bachelor's degree program as a rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in instructional design, human resources, marketing, communications, or similar discipline
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employment sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
* Strong academic track record (GPA of 3.0 or above)
* Able to commit to the full 11-week internship working 40 hours per week
Preferred
* Relevant instructional design coursework or experience relating to internship
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and others)
* Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
* Proficiency with Articulate Storyline & Rise
* Experience on an employee/department experience team (educational, training, or customer service)
Below is the starting salary range for this position, although offers may differ based on the candidate's location, job-specific knowledge, skills and experience.
$23.00/hr.
