This may include: teaching academic and life skills; job training on sites; developing social interactions between students with special needs and general education peers; reinforcing and generating communication skills and utilizing augmentative communication devices for students with mild language disabilities to non-verbal language capabilities. 2. Provides technical physical care for students. May include toileting, grooming, cleaning ventilation devices, feeding, care of G-tubes, positioning, improving range of motion, and administering medications. 3. May be asked to maintain daily records of student progress/behavior. 4. Uses instructional equipment including computers, audio visual, adaptive equipment, tape recorders, film projectors and other school equipment. 5. Maintains clean and hygienic work environment where appropriate. 6. Maintains confidentiality of students' information and records. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Ability to work one-on-one or in small groups with students 3. CPR/First Aid certification preferred 4.
