Discuss assigned duties with classroom teacher to coordinate instructional efforts. Assists in developing daily lesson plans that reflect the goals of the curriculum and the individual needs of the children. Works in conjunction with supervisor, and the management team in completion of program goals and meeting required deadlines through planning and follow up in a timely manner. Assist the teacher with supervision in the classroom by consistently accounting for all children throughout the day. Ensure active supervision is in place which includes the safety and security of all children by maintaining visual supervision and an accurate census of children producible on demand and verifiable by count when requested by management, parents, or regulatory agencies. Assists teacher with resources for families as identified through needs assessments, and parent/teacher conferences.
