Help maintain order in the classroom; monitors students to keep them on task. 9. Assist the classroom teacher in creating an environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. 10. Assist in monitoring and supervising students during field trips and special school events. 11. Escort children who need to leave the classroom for any reason 12. Helps maintain classroom supplies and helps children retrieve materials, clean up work spaces and gather belongings 13. Supervise outdoor recess periods, lunch periods and bus supervision before and after school as assigned and enforce expectations for student behavior. 14.
