MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Educational Services and the Group/Lead Teacher, the Teacher Assistant assists in providing direct early childhood educational services to children between the ages of two (2) months and five (5) years of age.

Instruction
* Alerts the teacher to the special needs of individual students and assists in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for the students.

* Prepares materials for instruction as directed by the teacher and gathers materials /student work when a student is absent.
