Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the safe and regular care of children as scheduled and as needed including toileting, diapering, feeding, changing clothes, food preparation, and constant, direct interactive supervision at all times. Assist with arrival and departure supervision and loading/unloading buses as needed.
Work with children one-on-one and in small groups under the educator’s direction. Assist as needed throughout program with language, reinforcement, redirection, etc. Use positive teaching techniques as directed by the program manager and classroom educator. Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing
Supervise children during nap time
Assisting with any duties as needed by the program, such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry
WHATS REQUIRED:
Pass a background check
Proof of Immunizations (MMR, TDaP) as required by Community Care Licensing
Physical Exam as required by Community Care Licensing
Negative TB test
High school diploma or equivalency
ECE units are preferred but not required
Must be willing to change diapers and potty train
Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend
CPR & First Aid
Job Types: Per Diem
Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
