About the Opportunity
As a Behavior Specialist at CSD, you'll play a key role in supporting children with autism. Using strategies backed by science (called Applied Behavior Analysis, or ABA), you'll help kids build important life skills-like communication, social interaction, and daily routines-in their homes, at our centers, or in community settings.

Duties & Responsibilities
Conducts 100% of scheduled sessions, unless time-off has been granted or the parents of the client have communicated to the clinical team that they would not like for the hours to be provided.
Primarily responsible for conducting subbing sessions for other clients to sustain the productivity margin if a session is cancelled by the family. Subbing sessions will fall on Saturdays and within the employee's availability.
Additional hours or sessions may be assigned by the Regional leadership within employee's availability.
Implements individualized treatment goals and Behavioral Intervention Plans in response to the direction provided by the Clinical Director and Senior Clinical Leader/Clinical Leader and/or other clinical staff in order to improve the behavior and skill acquisition of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Travels to Center, Home, and other community settings to deliver services.
Subbing sessions will primarily take place in the regional centers
Renders completed sessions daily and writes thorough notes
Communicates schedule changes and cancellations to clinical team immediately.
Participates in regular meetings and promptly communicates with Clinical Leaders/Clinical Directors via email and phone, regarding Treatment Plans and Behavioral Intervention Plans, family concerns and questions.
Fulfills the timely completion of necessary clinical documentation and communication of:
Daily Treatment Session Notes
Daily Treatment Target Data
Daily (If applicable) Behavior Data.
Keeps updated with other site-related documents and current clinical reports for each child served.
Remains current regarding new research, current trends and developments in special education and related fields.
Attends staff meetings, in-services, trainings, and other meetings as requested.

Academic Instructor Wanted for Fun After-School Tutoring! Sylvan Learning Center is looking for fun, dedicated teachers to help and inspire students. We are currently looking for teachers who are able to teach reading, writing, and math through Algebra II, SAT and ACT prep.
Sylvan creates individualized, engaging learning plans for students of all abilities. Working with well-behaved groups of only four students, you will be responsible for leading instruction and motivating students to be successful. There is no lesson plan to create, no homework to grade, no parent-conferencing, and scheduling is flexible. Enjoy all of the benefits of teaching, without any of the downsides!
What you should know:
You will use pre-planned lessons. They are straightforward, easy to manage, and fun to teach.
Teach students in a small group setting. There will be no more than 4 students per teacher.
Teachers work up to 5 days per week for 3-4 hours per day
We are open for instruction weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings, as well as daytime hours during school breaks.
This is NOT a remote position
Job Requirements:
Associate's Degree required, Teaching Credential recommended
You must enjoy teaching, working, and inspiring students. (We want you to be happy here!)
Being punctual and reliable is extremely important. You must be local and have reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment, as well as have a minimum of 3 years in Medical Billing & Coding.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Describe the role of the Certified Medical Billing Specialist
Describe the origin of medical language.
Analyze the component parts of a medical term.
List and define basic prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms.
Use basic prefixes, suffixes, and combining forms to build medical terms.
Explain common rules for proper medical term formation, pronunciation, and spelling.
Assess the responsibilities assigned to insurance billing and coding specialists and electronic claims processors.
Describe the health care delivery system.
Explain the responsibilities of the billing and coding specialist to protect patient rights under HIPAA.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the anatomy and physiology of body systems and related medical terminology in order to properly process clean claims.
Utilize the ICD‐10-CM manual, including V codes, E codes, and the Neoplasm and Hypertension tables.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS
Utilize the CPT manual and the various guidelines.
Demonstrate diagnostic and procedural coding.
Describe basic guidelines for submitting insurance claims.
Explain the difference between clean, pending, rejected, incomplete, and invalid claims.
Identify solutions for denied and rejected paper and electronic claims.
Identify when a paper claim can and cannot be used.
Explain the relationship of transactions and security with electronic data.
Communicate (verbally and non‐verbally) effectively and appropriately in the workplace.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3-5 years teaching experience
Teaching certification preferred
Minimum 3 years in related field of study
Must adhere to weekly class schedule
