Develop systems to ensure regular quality assurance checks for learning technology; respond quickly and efficiently to customer feedback/requests.
Work with subject matter experts and use instructional design principles to script, create and implement in-person and e-learning solutions. Partner with instructional designers and key stakeholders to ensure materials are updated and relevant.
Oversee and administer the LMS functions including creation/maintenance of catalogs and curricula and creating/modifying/maintaining course components.

Qualifications:

The Instructional Designer will incorporate technical and pedagogical requirements and guide instructors through the design process using best practices by matching the instructor's subject matter expertise with the most appropriate online/hybrid delivery methods and technologies. * Works with faculty in individual and group sessions to ensure curriculum improvements of targeted courses
* Recommends expenditures needed to support faculty development of online courses
* Performs support technology used to create online courses
* Collaborates with Campus leadership in gathering information for purchasing equipment
* Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed
* Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology or related field from a regionally accredited institution and three (3) years of related work experience
* All degree must be from a regionally accredited institution
* Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
* Possess excellent instructional design skills
* Possess exceptional skills in developing web courses in a web course environment
* Knowledge of learning management systems such as Blackboard, HTML, and other web technologies
* Knowledge of graphic editing software
* Ability to be a team player
* Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
* Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evening and weekend assignments
* Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
