Position Summary
The Training/Senior Training Specialist for Warehouse Operations is responsible for
Developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of warehouse personnel.
Training/Senior Training Specialist is also the warehouse POC of system tool which is responsible for connecting with technical department.
Support leader to ensuring the accuracy and quality of inventory management within the warehouse. This role focuses on problem resolution, process optimization, and vendor compliance.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our team members are well-trained, efficient, and capable of meeting the demands of warehouse operations and ensuring a good inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and coordinate training modules for a variety of specialties, including quality assurance (QA), receive, put-away, pick, re-bin, pack and ship processes, people management, warehouse management systems (WMS), etc.
Identify skill gaps among existing warehouse personnel and develop training initiatives to enhance their skills in areas such as material handling, picking and packing, and quality control.
Conduct training sessions through various mediums, including classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and e-learning platforms.
Provide constructive feedback and additional coaching as needed to address performance improvement opportunities.
As the warehouse POC, coordinates relevant departments to learn the new system tool, conducts grayscale testing and employee training.
Lead the identification, analysis, and resolution of inventory control and warehouse management system issues. Ensure root causes are identified, documented, and addressed with effective improvement plans.
Oversee regular cycle counts, account reconciliations, and reporting. Manage the annual physical inventory, including slotting and profiling of SKUs to maintain optimal inventory accuracy.
Conduct and oversee quality assurance audits, creating detailed reports on deficiencies, and load quality. Collaborate with Accounts Payable, vendors, and IPR to maintain inventory accuracy and vendor compliance within the warehouse.
Review and improve transportation carrier performance as needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of related work experience.
Proven experience as a Training/Quality/system control role in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and WMS/TMS.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Certification in Training and Development is a plus.

Your Role

The need for part-time faculty is greatest in Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall term begins in the late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term runs from the middle of January through the end of May. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Regular performance evaluations of part-time lecturers are made by the department in accord with the faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement and University Policy Statement 210.070. These performance evaluations determine which lecturers will be retained for future and continued teaching assignments. And in some instances, syllabi, assignments and reading material will be reviewed by the departmental personnel committee.
APPOINTMENT AND SALARY
All part-time faculty appointments are made as Lecturers, under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the California Faculty Association. Initial appointments are for one semester only.
Classification Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per month
Anticipated hiring range depending on qualifications, not to exceed $6,221 per month

ABOUT THE ROLE
Anduril Industries is seeking a Curriculum Developer to join our Training team to support our product operations and maintenance training programs. This role is critical to scaling internal knowledge, enabling product readiness, educating our customers, and aligning team capabilities with our mission-driven work. The Training Manager will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across multiple business lines to analyze, design, develop, and deliver training programs that support our rapidly evolving product portfolio and operational landscape.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, product teams, and operators to identify training requirements and define clear learning outcomes.
Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and align training programs with business objectives.
Design and develop curriculum frameworks, course outlines, evaluation, and instructional materials using the ADDIE and Kirkpatrick models, and other instructionaldesign methodologies.
Translate complex, technical information into engaging and digestible learning experiences for diverse audiences.
Create content for blended learning formats including instructor-led training (ILT), e-learning modules, job aids, and hands-on practicals in support of both Train-the-Trainer and direct-to-customer deliverables
Incorporate adult learning theory and industry best practices to drive knowledge retention, engagement, and performance outcomes.
Partner with content creators, trainers, and other Training Team members to ensure programs are effectively delivered and assessed.
Maintain version control, documentation standards, and compliance with internal training systems and platforms.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience in curriculum development, instructionaldesign, or training program management-ideally in a technical, engineering, or defense-related environment.
Proven ability to partner with technical SMEs to extract and organize information into structured learning paths.
Strong knowledge of instructionaldesign models and frameworks, including ADDIE, SAM, Gange's, Merrill's, and other adult learning theories.
Demonstrated experience project management skillsets, including: scope planning, communications, stakeholder alignment, monitoring, and closure
Experience developing training content for diverse modalities (ILT, VILT, eLearning, performance support tools).
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Ability to facilitate impactful, effective train-the-trainer events.
Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
High attention to detail and quality in documentation and deliverables.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Familiarity with defense, aerospace, robotics, virtual reality/augmented reality, or software systems.
Experience using authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Techsmith Camtasia, or similar.
Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training tracking tools (e.g., Cornerstone).
Bachelor's degree in InstructionalDesign, Education, Technical Communication, or related field.
