Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and develop learning experiences that align with learning outcomes, apply research-based learning principles, and inform learner progress and success in mixed-modality learning environments.
Use learning authoring tools to build learning experiences, including assessments, interactive activities, animated and live videos, video editing, graphics and images, and text-based content.

Semi-annual audits of LMS content to ensure the accuracy of the information and communicate to content stakeholders' necessary updates to remain compliant with Hayes Locum's internal sales & non-sales processes and procedures.
Develop, organize and maintain Instructional Design Training Material
Create storyboards, scripts, scenarios, screencasts, simulations, modules, videos, quizzes, etc. for self-paced delivery via Learning Management Systems (iSpring).
Develop systems to ensure regular quality assurance checks for learning technology; respond quickly and efficiently to customer feedback/requests.
Work with subject matter experts and use instructional design principles to script, create and implement in-person and e-learning solutions. Partner with instructional designers and key stakeholders to ensure materials are updated and relevant.
Oversee and administer the LMS functions including creation/maintenance of catalogs and curricula and creating/modifying/maintaining course components.
Responsible for all LMS reporting requests from various departments and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or similar experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 20 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
Travel: Occasional travel between campus locations and to off-site training venues as needed
Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends to accommodate training schedules

Job Summary
The Instructional Design Intern will support RailPros' Training and Media Services team as we design, develop and deliver engaging learning experiences for our railroad-based customers. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate passionate about instructional design, adult learning, media production and the business of employee training. The intern will collaborate with subject matter experts and Training team members to observe and participate in the creation of impactful training content across various formats, including eLearning, instructor-led training, and multimedia assets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Assist in the design, development and revision of instructional materials for digital and instructor-led training.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and target audience needs.
* Support the creation of interactive and engaging content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint, and video editing software.
* Help produce multimedia elements including graphics, audio, and video for training modules.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for training delivery.
* Assist with file management and version control within our Learning Management System (LMS) and Sharepoint sites.
* Conduct quality assurance reviews of training materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
* Observe and support administrative tasks related to training development, documentation, delivery and recordkeeping.
* Attend team meetings and contribute to project planning and updates.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Required Education and Experience
* Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Learning Design and Technology, Workforce Development, Adult Education, or a related field.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Interest in learning instructional design tools and multimedia production.
Preferred Education and Experience
* Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
