The Department of Construction Management is one of the largest construction management programs in the country with approximately 800 undergraduate students, 20 graduate students, 20 faculty, and 7 professional staff. The undergraduate program is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education. Academic advising, internship and career placement support are provided by professional staff. The Department engages in teaching, scholarly, and outreach activities to promote the development of knowledge and skills related to construction management. The Department of Construction Management is seeking a full-time Non-Tenure Track Faculty member at the rank of Instructor to teach courses across the newly developed Construction Engineering (BS) program and the existing Construction Management (BS) program. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate instruction in one or both programs, depending on their area of expertise and departmental needs.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses that prepare students for professional careers in the construction industry and related fields; engage with student organizations and mentor student competition teams; and participate in service activities that advance the mission of the department, the college, and the university. Exemplary service activities include serving on departmental, college, or university committees and contributing to departmental initiatives, policies, and strategic planning efforts.

Position Summary
The Department of Kinesiology invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or tenured faculty position at the Associate Professor level with a 100% appointment in the Department.
We are seeking big-data analytics expertise across multiple disciplines of Kinesiology, with priority being given to candidates who can teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biomechanics and motor control/learning and mentor student research. We particularly welcome candidates who use advanced quantitative approaches, such as health, sport or performance analytics, wearable technologies, computational modeling, machine learning, and/or large-scale movement/health datasets to study human performance, injury prevention, and/or rehabilitation following injury.
Minimum Qualifications
* Earned Ph.D. in kinesiology, biomechanics, motor behavior, or a closely related discipline.
* Evidence of publishing independent, focused research (assistant level) or a strong record of nationally recognized line of scholarship (associate level).

JOB TITLE:
Faculty Behaviorist - Clinical Assistant Professor
JOB PURPOSE:
In this setting, the behavioral science faculty member will support our residents'
acquisition of systemic and relational therapeutic clinical skills to work effectively with individuals, couples and families in their continuity practice; and
professionalization by helping them identify and enact their own professional values and visions
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resident observation sessions: The faculty member will provide live supervision for residents in clinic to guide learning of behavioral medicine and psychosocial skills in the context of their clinical practice, and to provide feedback and coaching
Resident clinical support: The faculty member will support residents with their patients' behavioral needs through consultation and coaching
Resident support and advising: The faculty member will meet with residents as needed to provide support and advising, and may support them with community engagement, advocacy, and clinical quality improvement projects
Teaching: The faculty member will engage in teaching sessions in the residency (seminars, didactics)
Clinical practice: The faculty member will see patients independently in the FMC to provide family or individual therapy as needed
Administration: The faculty member will participate in various residency and departmental administrative duties (meetings with faculty, residents and FMC staff; residency applicant selection; departmental and residency retreats; faculty development)

Education:

Assistant instructors support the lead Police Academy instructor in developing the necessary skills for recruits to pass the POST exam
Job Duties:
* Instruct small group sessions to demonstrate skills and coach student skills performance in compliance with student-faculty ratios.
* Follow College and department procedures for student evaluation and grading.
* Evaluate student performance and document student skill proficiencies. (Evaluation occurs both informally through skills check-off activities and formally in skills evaluation sessions.)
* Present individual topic didactic instruction, as needed-does not present majority of course material.
* Perform or provide student supervision of the repair and maintenance of tools and equipment.
* Assist with the set up and tear down training evolutions/stations.
* Assist the primary instructor with assuring compliance with outside agency regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Colorado POST certified or other credentials specific to the topic being taught
* Five (5) years of patrol/professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate's Degree in a related field

Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities
Adhere to and ensure the enforcement of WyoTech policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Handbook; Advise students on attendance, grades, professionalism, and personal problems to ensure completion of their career program
Submit grades, tests, attendance, and all other material; Plan class instruction based on the syllabus and ensure learning objectives are met. Ensure all educational activity is conducted ethically and legally; Utilize the CANVAS LMS system
Support EPA and safety procedures; Encourage students to do safe, quality work with safety precautions
Maintain and attend to the repair of class equipment and tool inventory. Lock up your area
Attend scheduled instructor meetings, graduation, and registration; Participate in curriculum and professional development; Communicate effectively with all WyoTech faculty and staff
Encourage motivation and enthusiasm in the shop and classroom; Develop a professional rapport with the students
