What You'll Do
Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10-15 energetic elementary students. Instructors should be comfortable guiding activities, keeping students engaged, and redirecting behavior when needed
Use our structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and promote good sportsmanship
Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity
Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking
Follow school safety protocols, including supervision during arrival, dismissal, and in-class activities.
Travel to various local school sites for each session

YOUR DAY AS A COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR SUPERVISOR
As a Cosmetology Instructor Supervisor-also known as an Education Leader-you will spend each day training, coaching, and directing Learning Leaders to deliver consistent and high-quality instruction both in the classroom and on the clinic floor. You will assess educational needs and partner with Skill Specialists to develop curriculum, specialty content, and engaging lesson plans that align with our technical systems. Using Paul Mitchell tools and terminology, you'll help guide the instructional team while driving revenue- and budget-based goals. You'll set the tone for learning with passion, confidence, and professionalism-leading by example and fostering a culture of growth for students and staff alike. In this dynamic role, you'll juggle multiple responsibilities and wear many hats, including education specialist, technical coach, classroom mentor, and team manager.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR SUPERVISOR
Experience instructing at a cosmetology school with solid work history and verifiable references
Current cosmetology, barbering, esthetic, or nail and instructor license
Excellent organization, coaching, and communication skills
Proficiency in supervision, teamwork, documentation, and return on investment
Genuine passion for the beauty industry
Honesty and professionalism in all interactions
Familiarity with Paul Mitchell Schools' cultural and technical systems is preferred.
