We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Hydro Fitness Instructors to lead innovative and engaging hydro sculpt water-based classes. This role requires a strong background in aqua group fitness instruction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to create inclusive and motivating classes for members of all fitness levels.
* Lead safe, effective, and high-energy aqua classes

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

The Emergency Medicine Training Center (TC) offers Advanced Life Support (ALS) education and serves as a training site for the American Heart Association, the DC Department of Health Paramedic program, and the National Association of EMTs. Courses are provided for both initial certifications and renewals, catering to the public and healthcare providers.
The full-time staff at TC provides support and assigns ALS instructors for all classes. This support includes coordinating courses and managing logistics. ALS instructors are tasked with delivering high-quality education and training to prepare students for state and national certification exams. Instructors should be well-acquainted with the program's objectives and demonstrate the ability to follow a structured instructional plan. Additionally, they must have the necessary credentials for the subjects they teach, whether in a laboratory setting or as part of an educational program.
Instructors are expected to regularly assess students' progress in meeting the overall program requirements. They perform their duties under the supervision of the lead instructor or TC staff, particularly within the laboratory environment. Their responsibilities include setting up training equipment, cleaning and maintaining that equipment, and organizing and storing it after use.

* AHA ALS course instructor in ACLS and/or PALS.

Bay Atlantic University is seeking highly qualified applicants for the following undergraduate/graduate level programs: Organizational Leadership Courses are offered in person at the University or synchronously online using the Teams platform. The Adjunct teaching instructor will provide instruction across multiple areas and will be required to:
Prepare lecture content;
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to deliver the course content;
Engage in assessing student learning and advising students at the undergraduate level;
Collaborate with colleagues;
Continue professional development in scholarship, teaching, community service;
Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of the course content.
This position requires all coursework to use the Universitys educational platform to promote the advancement of technological enhancements in teaching. The successful candidate will also have a commitment to teamwork, and organizational skills with attention to detail, thoroughness, excellent communication, and practical decision-making.

Qualifications:
Masters degree (required)
Experience as a teaching assistant or instructor at an accredited institution of higher learning (preferred)
Evidence of effective use of computer technology
Demonstrated experience in online and/or distance learning, as well as curriculum design and implementation in higher education is a plus
Desire to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body
